Salons filed down to much, nails like paper now. Once this helps grow them, can I use as bottom coat on my own gel system. No filing.?

This product is FAKE. IT DOES NOT CONTAIN KERATIN AS ADVERTISED. I AM A CERTIFIED NAIL TECH WHO HAS BEEN USING THE REAL PRODUCT FOR OVER 10 YEARS.

A couple of my fingernails split right down the middle as soon as they grow beyond the quick. Will this product keep them from splitting?

I had a split on a nail that i've had about 5 years, maybe longer. with the help of my manicurist, I started this product in January 2013 following her firm instructions.. for a month, I used it as directed on the bottle and every 7 days, removed it and started again.. Month 2- I had a manicure with no polish but to clean cuticles and shape nails, still following month 1 process. Month 3 same thing but used every other day.. Monday 4 same thing but now had a manicure with polish, put on every other day and removed when polish chipped.. it's now late June, the last manicure I had, THEY HAD TO CUT MY NAILS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE!! I also noticed the split was gone.. I have about another month to go before my nails are fully grown out from January.. I've used dozens of products; ;nothing worked before this one. A dark polish manicure now lasts 10-11 days and I do a lot with my hands especially since we are getting ready to move.. I do understand I will need to keep this up for my nails to stay like this..

No idea. But I’ve used it faithfully almost every night for the past 10 years and it’s like magic! My nails are long and strong — after years of picking and biting!

I have never had it burn. I think the important thing is to make sure you clean your nails and cuticles with a nail brush and warm soap and water to make sure all the nail polish remover is cleaned off and the sooner to get the acetone off your hands the less is absorbed into the system. The only think I can think of as the cause of the burning is that the nail polish remover is trapped underneath.
