Great little tracker
I got addicted to having an activity tracker about 4 years ago, had and replaced several lost or broken Fitbit Zips. After losing the last one I decided I didn't want to spend so much on my next tracker and opted to try one with no connectivity. This OZO pedometer was one of the smaller ones I could find and it still seemed kind of big when it arrived, especially compared to my old Fitbit Zip. But it is really lightweight and, other than connectivity, has a few more features than the Zip, such as active minutes per day and running totals of everything for the past seven days. The bigger display is super easy to read and I like that it shows the time at the bottom, you don't have to advance the display to see it.The setup seemed confusing at first but once you've done it, you realize the directions are completely accurate. For me, instead of step-by-step directions, this is an easier way to understand how to set up the device:While the display is showing today's step count, hold the top button until "ADJ" flashes on the top and "12 hr" flashes on the bottom. From that point on, use the bottom button only to change a setting.Otherwise, keep pressing the top button to advance to the next setting until you get to one you want to change.Be aware that some of the settings have multiple positions (eg; time has hours, minutes and seconds) and you need to press the top button to advance to each of them. Here are some of the things that threw me at first:If using the 12 hr clock, be sure to advance the hour through to set AM/PM correctly. The Year entry, at least on mine, started at 2016, don't forget to advance that to the current year otherwise leap years will not be handled correctly. The Daily Target entry has SIX digits! So you have to advance through each of the six positions. If you make a mistake, stop pushing buttons and just wait for 30 seconds, then start over.I find the clip makes the unit kind of thick and bulky, plus it doesn't hold very tight to clothing. Luckily the clip slides right off so I don't use it. I use a small carabiner to attach the OZO to a belt loop.So far so good, I am giving 5 stars. I will update if anything changes after I have had it for a while.

Good (I think) But BEWARE of CLIP
I was excited when my pedometer arrived. It was fairly easy to set up and off I went on my morning of errands and appointments. Although I thought it might be a little high in steps counted, I planned to check that later when I did my 3-mile walk as I can estimate the steps accurately for that. However, I only wore the pedometer for about 5 hours and once I was home and ready to set out for my walk, I looked down to check the total steps (as I had done many times already that morning) and it was gone. It had been clipped to my jeans front pocket and must have fallen off in the last store (or parking lot) as I did check it before entering that store. I don't know if it popped off or the clip broke, but it happened while standing/walking, not sitting (as I had done many times that morning). Anyway, be careful and watchful if using the clip.

item was hard to set up
I had a fitbit that attached to my belt loop or fit in my pocket, that I lost. This no longer is sold by fitbit,so I bought the Ozo to replace it.I have a direct root that I walk every morning,so I knew the exact KM that this root was.It took my a while to program the ozo to pick up the KM through the step distance , but once it was program the unit is working fine.

Good, inexpensive pedometer. Durability questionable though...
These pedometers work great when they are new, but after a year or two of daily use they stop functioning properly for one reason or another. I've experienced 1 that had a digit quit working on the display, another one had the white button quit functioning (when the button is pressed it does nothing), and a third that quit working entirely. Replacing the battery did not fix it. When I contacted the company they did replace 2 of them for free though. I do have the Pedometer app on my phone, but it is not programmable and not as accurate as a pedometer. Maybe look at other brands first before buying from OZO Fitness? Update to review: The customer service representative I recently spoke with told me that they are coming out with a new & improved model soon. He stated that he will give me a discount toward the purchase of the new model because of the problems I have been experiencing with this model. We'll see. This is why I have given them only a mediocre review for now...

Exactly what I needed
This is the type of pedometer I was looking for for the right price. I am participating in a work step challenge for the month of September so I need something to track my steps. It clips well to by regular and work clothes. I have dropped it a few times by accident but it seems pretty tough. I like that i will track for 30 days. I am interested to know what happens after 30 days. Does it automatically reset? So far so good, I have an iphone I can track steps with as well but I like that I have something that will track my steps first thing in the morning.
