Highly recommended!
Simple to change and fit was spot on and looks beautiful. This is on my 1972 USA Fender Strat. Very happy with the thickness and quality which was the same as my original. Highly recommend the face plate and back plate!

Beautiful replacement for a Squier 40th anniversary
I got the pearloid 4-ply pickguard as a replacement for the black metal one on the Squier 40th anniversary vintage wide two-tone burst. I love everything about the guitar except how the black pickguard blends in with the black part of the wide burst, and also how the white pickups and controls just stand out so starkly. The pearloid pickguard is a vintage white and is a perfect match for the pickups and controls. It looks absolutely gorgeous. The replacement pickguard was a tiny bit smaller in certain areas like the horn but once it was on, you can’t tell it is aftermarket. The screws were about 80% lined up correctly, and one of the holes (next to the low string side of the middle pickup) was in a totally different place on the original vs replacement, but that was an easy fix with a screw and bit of elbow grease. All of the important holes - pickups, knobs, and selector — were perfect. Some of the shielding on the underside was covering some of the screw holes but it was easy to punch through them, so no big deal. I’m sure it cuts down on costs. All in all, the pickguard looks great and I am 100% satisfied with the installation and the results. Highly recommended for a Squier 40th anniversary Strat.

Do this before changing out your pickguard.
It was so close but only two screw holes didn't line up on my 80s Lake Placid Blue MIJ strat. BTW-- mint looks awesome on Lake Placid Blue and the quality is top notch. There were no wayward cuts like you find on really cheap pick guards that are barely thicker than a credit card. This is at least as thick as two credit cards. The star ding however is not for the two screw holes but rather for the hour I spent in my garage using my countersink bit for the pickup and 5-way switch holes. If you don't countersink these holes, the screw heads protrude out like mushrooms. I only discovered this after I had transferred everything from the old pick guard. No respectable guitar player wants mushrooms on their axe. When you countersink the pickup and switch holes, keep the plastic film on the pick guard and place painters tape on the backside to protect the foil from tearing out. Also, don't countersink it too deep (remember it's only two cc thick). Overall, good product for the price even though it takes a little work to make it perfect.

Good value, awesome style....some things to note...
Fantastic pick guard for the money. Looks fantastic and fits (hole alignment) great on a made in Japan Fender Stratocaster (MIJ Aerodyne). Note (1) I had to enlarge the pick guard retention screw holes (8 of them) slightly with a drill bit to make the screws sit flush. Only for the pick guard retention holes was this necessary. Other screw holes had already been counter sunk to make screws flush. Why didn't they counter sink all the holes? May be those holes take smaller screws on other Strats (MIM,MIUSA, other than MIJ)? I don't know. Note (2) When I first got it out of the package I noticed that there was a protective film over it. Nothing unusual for a pick guard...so I took off protective film and proceeded to install....then I noticed that there was a SECOND, thinner protective film still on there after the FIRST protective had been removed. So I took off the SECOND layer of protective film...then the pick guard went on great and looks awesome. Nice pick guard, good value.

Perfect for my Mexican Strat...
I ordered this for my black '97 Made in Mexico Squier Stratocaster... I recently found out that in '97, Squier used Fender bodies and necks (so THAT'S why everyone always goes on and on about how my Squier "feels and plays JUST like a Fender!") so this pickguard dropped right in... All the screw holes matched perfectly... I first heard about Musiclily pickguards from a video on YouTube entitled "Don't Pay $$$ For Plastic From Fender"... There really isn't a reason to pay well over twice as much for an "officially licensed" pickguard from Fender, when these Musiclilly pickguards are just as good (in my opinion, I mean, it really just is some plastic cellulose) and available in MORE colors and styles through Musiclilly... You could even order them through Musiclilly's website, but I'm an Amazon guy... Gotta love Prime and their free shipping! My black Stratocaster originally had a white pickguard (boring and pedestrian, in my opinion) so I replaced it with this Tortoise Shell colored pickguard and left the naturally aged white pickup covers and knobs... It looks GREAT... WAY better... I'll be ordering more of these guards for sure... It even came with a tremelo cavity cover... GREAT value!

Went straight onto my 1976 Japanese strat copy and looks a lot better than the, cheap looking, gloss black guard that was on it before. The back plate that came with it doesn't fit, but that's hardly the end of the world.

Very nice indeed

Good quality product and holes aligned perfectly on my 2013 Mexican Standard Strat. The only issue was that it is a tight fit around the 6 point tremolo edge, so much so that I had to loosen it off to allow the tremolo to rise after slackening the rear springs. After the tremolo started floating again I re-tightened the pickguard and all now works fine.

RV
