The planter is attractive. I used it to transplant my aloe plants, several small ones. It is only 4" deep so cannot be used for plants with large roots.

The wooden planter is of good quality and sturdy. The size allows you to plant directly in it or keep the plants in their plastic pots.I end up painting mines to match the colors of my wall wooden adornment and planter. I’m very happy with the end results.

Smaller than I thought but still cute for my herb

I bought 2 of these for my kitchen window. They fit perfectly and now hold 6 herbs between them. I did add clear plastic pot saucers beneath the pots to catch overflow water, and those fit perfectly. I'm very pleased with the result. The comments from other people about the thinness of the plastic liner are spot on, which is one reason why I added the plastic saucers. But I also felt that they would be easier to clean as individual overflow containers, and the system I have works very well.The wood boxes look very nice.

I bought this to use as a gift box for a large bottle of wine. I laughed at the father this product could be used as a planter, right absolutely good night. The supplied liner is so thin. It resembles saran wrap also after spending hours trying to determine something that would work based on dimensions alone I found this to not match what was listed on the website The construction is decent albeit very east Asian hardwood… maybe use it to hold remotes or something don’t buy think you’re going to be putting your succulents in this bad boy

So happy with this flower box. Please note it does not come with my messy engraving lol! I obviously bought this for my parents as a gift. It does show however ideas for using this box other than simply putting flowers/plants inside. It also demonstrates durability and thickness to withstand wood carving. This box is made of real wood but is very light in weight - even with the pots in it - and sturdy. I hadn’t decided on what to plant in it as I wasn’t sure if my parents would want it indoors or under their covered patio but I’d say it will still be lightweight. I don’t know if I would keep this in an uncovered area. No reason you couldn’t but I don’t believe it would last over time. In fact, it comes with a plastic liner to protect it I was pleased to see and my mom noticed right away. I was impressed with the fact the liner covered not only the bottom but the sides too - all the way to the top. Makes watering plants mess free. The box is a great price. Couldn’t find what I wanted for that price and none of the others came with a liner or such a variety of colors. I was able to fit 6 small (about 2-3 inches tall) terracotta pots in there with no gaps. I’d say you could fit three medium in there the same way. Exceeded my expectations.

my indoor cat loves grassand I love my catso I bought her these two planters to create indoor grass for her-- she loves sitting on it as much as she loves snacking on it.I've got them set up in the window with command strips underneath and they've never fallen out or wiggled once. the liners make it easy to replant all the squashed, dead grass with a new batch without having to deal with the command strips every time.

For $13, I can’t complain much. I think it’s a cute little box, but I was hoping for something a bit better. I was planning on using mine for an herb garden. The plastic insert was flimsy and the wood itself was cheap. There was no way dirt + plants would be sturdy in that plastic, and if that wood got wet (heavily wet like watering plants) i’m pretty sure it would deteriorate. I think it’s adorable and great to hold little things in! Just not great for the purpose I was intending on using it for (so if you’re planning on using it for plants that need regular watering, I would not recommend)

Bought this wood planter for my succulent plant. Added a beautiful touch to the farm style decor of the room. Perfect size to fit on my floating self. Good quality.
