AmeriColorSoft Gel Paste Food Color, Wedgewood, 0.75 Ounce Bottle

I love this brand of gel color because it is always so pigmented. I use much less than other brands because a little goes a long way. My favorite brand of gel color so far! This particular color is so beautiful too, reminds me exactly of the wedge wood china. So pretty.

First time trying Americolor food color paste for royal icing. This is a paste, so it is a little thicker than other gels I have tried. Didn’t take much. But it is excellent. I can see why bakers recommend it. Wedgewood is a beautiful color. A grayish blue. Muted vs bright. It is pictured next to Sienna icing which is a flesh tone for comparison.

I was very skeptical about purchasing this brand without knowing anything about it or never having used it before. Boy was I shocked! This color was SO vibrant and exactly what I was going for. I have purchased other food gels in the past (Wilton for example), and nothing makes my icing as vibrant as this brand right here! After seeing the turnout for this particular color, I just went and purchased the entire case with all the colors! I’ll never buy another brand again!

I ordered this about a year ago and truly liked it. The color was beautiful. My issue was that when it came, the water and color pigment were a bit separated, so it took a lot of shaking and mixing. However it was worth it for me. Very beautiful pastel blue. Not teal, but definitely not pure baby blue either.
