Update: 8/5/25 - I still am using 5 of the original bulbs that are going strong from November 2021 & placed an order a few days ago for another set of 6, since I needed an extra 1 for a lamp I just bought. They arrived in perfect condition with fast shipping too. I tested them all and they are perfect. I highly recommend this seller & these truly beautiful replicas of vintage bulbs. They have the perfect glow at night & are easy on my sensitive eyes. I just LOVE them! I am so grateful I can still buy them here. Happy Summer to everyone! Update after 3 years, 12/20/24 - The very first of the 6 bulbs stopped working today -- the other 5 are still going strong! I paid $17.89 for the pack of 6 back then and it's good to see their price is still the same after years of bidenomics inflation! LOL Such a great value for pretty, warm bulbs that are long-lasting and MUCH healthier for the eyes than the LED junk forced upon us! Definitely look into this if you're not already aware of how we can be influenced by different types of lighting, either positively or negatively. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! :-) Update - Bought them on November 28, 2021 and it's now February 18, 2024. All of my lovely bulbs are still working! I use them in 2 different vintage lamps that are on as soon as it's dusk. Do not hesitate --- I love these bulbs. I am still using the original ones I started using last November in a 3 bulb vintage pole lamp and I just LOVE them! They are so warm and glowing. You will not be disappointed. Worth every penny....excellent quality!

All six bulbs were intact and packaged nicely. They draw exactly 25W as expected and give off a dim, warm glow. No humming or buzzing or any other problems. Amazon claims that this is a "frequently returned item", probably because people don't read what it is they're buying. This is an incandescent (i.e. very inefficient) bulb rated at 70 lumens. That's a fraction of any normal LED bulb which are normally about 800. These bulbs are good for a small desk or a bedside table where you want a very gentle, warm light occasionally, or as decorative mood lighting. Don't expect to use them for much else. EDIT: A year later and the first bulb is still working great in my table lamp, even with a lot of on/off cycles. Still gives a very comforting light that an LED can't match. Would still recommend.

I bought these to go into wall mounted exposed cage lights. Normal light bulbs end up being so bright they're blinding. So we've usually kept the lights off. But now we can use them and they're also pretty to look at. These light bulbs give off only 70 lumens so don't intend to read a book by them. 1 of the 6 pack didn't work, but all the bulbs came intact. The seller contacted me to give me a refund on the bulb that did not work. Very easy to work with. Excellent customer service.

I recently purchased a lamp with glass shades, thus began my quest for the perfect vintage light bulb. I have purchased and returned bulbs from three different stores. I wasn't looking for bright bulbs that hurt my eyes to look at, I wanted my room to look cozy with a warm golden glow. I decided to give theses a try because they offered the low lumens I was looking for. These are exactly what I have been looking for! I have added a picture: The picture of the filament shows exactly what I see when I look at the bulb. I love that I can see the filament without feeling like I've been blinded. The bulbs were well packaged: each bulb is wrapped in bubble wrap and in its own individual box, the six boxes then packed in another box. Not one bulb was broken, and I each bulb worked. I have only had these for a few days so I cannot comment on longevity. That is the only reason I did not give them a 5-star rating. I can say that if these are still working a month from now, I plan on buying some more to have on hand. Update: I have been using these for a couple of weeks and I am so pleased with them that I ordered two more boxes. I just received my order, and I am happy to report that all bulbs arrived unbroken. I tested all 12 bulbs and all work fine. The two cartons containing six bulbs each are well packaged, and a Fragile sticker is on each box. That said, I do suggest Amazon add a Fragile sticker to the shipping box as I noticed there wasn't one.

Bought these to replace led style bulbs. They give off the perfect warm glow and soft on the eyes. Great for use at night time when the house is winding down. Picture doesn't show how warm the light is. It's a true 2100k orange.

Not a fan of incandescent bulbs anymore but I had to give up and buy these. I was pleasantly surprised by the hue they did give at 65 lumens. Perfect. Only a bit of amber glow so another plus!! I do NOT like bright bulbs. So, these worked perfectly for two garage farmhouse style sconce lights. The only problem is they do break easily and one broke as I pulled it out of its box. Be careful!!

Seven years later and I just pulled out the last bulb. I have used these in both lamps and light fixture in my home and my office. They also survived our move across several states last summer. They provide a beautiful warm glow and adequate light to read by, even with my 50 year old eyes! I am not a fan of the harsh light in LED bulbs, and the “warm white” bulbs are nearly impossible to find. “Soft white” is about all I can find in stores and it is still harsh. I am thrilled to see that these bulbs are still available and the price is great for 6 bulbs.

Just so you know these are actually 40W bulbs and not 25W. Markings on the bulbs says 40W and is noticeably brighter. Design and light is good.
