This board arrived the other day and it is gorgeous. I won’t be putting this in the cupboard like my others, it’s staying on the counter for all to see. It comes pre-seasoned but am in the process of oiling it myself. I have a smaller, less expensive cutting board that was not pre-seasoned and you can tell, because it just soaks up the mineral oil.The craftsmanship is top notch, without a single. defect. It lays perfectly flat on the counter. The juice grooves and handles are perfectly cut. When you hold it, you can feel how solid it really is. There’s no flimsily sensation or worry that seams will separate.It’s not cheap by any means, but still less expensive than some other brands just because they have a particular name branded on the outside. This is about as nice as they come. I got the 20x13x2 version because I like a big work space and want plenty of room when prepping or slices large roasts. Find one that fits the bill for your size requirement and get one!

I have been searching for good board for a very long time. I recently got a board through Williams Sonoma and it ended up warping within a month despite following the care instructions. This board, right off the bat, appears to be of better quality all the way around. It is very smooth as a result of nice sanding and finishing touches. Very different from what received from WS and it was about $100 less expensive. Highly recommend.

This thing is dangerous to use. It does not have feet or any anti-slipping features so when you cut, the board slips all over the place and you almost cut your finger off!!! You would think something this expensive would have had the some better engineering for slipping and sliding. I’ll be buying some feet to put under it so no one gets hurts.

I love this cutting board the richness of the wood and it looks beautiful on my counter. I was looking for a high quality cutting board to invest in and have been very pleased with it. Now I am not happy that it is splitting and the wood looks like it is separating in the middle. I have been caring for it as it was called for have never soaked it or put it in the dishwasher. I have washed it in warm water. I was hoping this cutting board would last for many years and retain its beauty and function but now I think I wasted my money.
