Beware that some can hold the seeds but don't absorb water, but these do. These hold water to help germinate the seeds quickly.

I ordered this as a refill for my hydroponic system, these new sponges did have a divot for the seeds (the ones you get with the set up do not) so I lied that aspect. I ordered twice as many rock wool for less than these sponges, rock wool is a natural product as well which helps. The rock wool shipped immediately, I waited weeks for these.

I can’t find any help online for this product. There were no instructions beyond a one sided single page for growing. I’ve had my system running for 3 days now, and suddenly both the outlet plug and timer are for the pump are blinking and the pump no longer works!?! I’ve unplugged everything, put it all back together etc. The only help I’ve even seen mentioned is to ‘contact the company on their website’, but there isn’t one!!! I hope the manufacturer sees this soon and will answer. I’m giving it a 2 star Bc of this reason. My seeds are growing currently and have germinated and now starting to grow leaves but if I can’t get the pump to work I would imagine they will die soon.
