Really nice quality. I love that the electrical outlet is controlled separately from the bulb pull-chain. That way, I can turn on and off the bulb socket independently from the power outlet, which is what I wanted for my garage setup.

Super simple to use. We replaced our flush mount lights in our garage that we bought from a warehouse with these sockets. Love that we now have extra outlets for some of our chargers for battery operated tools. Also has a nice long pull chain for easy on/off. We replaced our flush mount lights with the 5 panel led adjustable lights (also Amazon) and now we can actually see in our garage!! Woowhoo!!

I needed to replace my old lighting fixtures in my garage. These have so far worked well. They were easy to install. I like that the provide additionally outlets should I need them. The pull-cords are work well too, thought I won't likely use them much due to the height of my garage ceilings. I'd definitely recommend. I cannot say yet how long these will last, but should they prove to have good longevity, I'll come back here to update to 5 stars.

Nice quality, easy to install and handy to have an off/on pull switch and extra plug in outlet. Not much else to say, its a light socket.

I needed to have a plug in fixture where my pull chain light was. So the perfect answer was to change the fixture with one that included the plug outlet. The nice thin here is that this is a grounded three prong outlet so there is no need for plug adapters. It's an easy install as long as the power is off, a little more difficult if you leave the power on but still a no brainer. It has Braas , silver and green screws to help you get it right.

took me like 40 minutes to hook up, but that was because this is a rental unit and our landlords hired a crackhead to wire up the socket I was replacing long before I moved in. I swapped out a closet light bulb socket for this and now use the spare bedroom closet to cultivate vegetables using a 125 actual watt LED grow light. this light makes the process effortless. I grow up to ~100 seedlings every spring, to which turn to 70 sproutlings, and than those finally thin down months later to about 40+ viable mature vegetable plants. the light (which uses a 3 prong grounded socket) runs effortlessly through this grounded outlet adapter. the light runs 20 hours a day, and yet does not get anything more than somewhat warm running through this unit. it is made of somewhat low quality porcelain that cracks instantly the second you tighten a screw too tightly or if you try to use the knockout sections (do NOT bother using them, just make sure you use the grounded screw hole on the bottom and then drill a hole above the terminal box for the top screw to keep the lampholder unit from sliding around, then anchor the top screw to that. I attached the ground wire to the internal ground clamp terminus like recommended, then ran a screw through the ground clamp on the lampholder into the terminal box and left the other top side raw, with the screw run into the stud above the terminal box since mine was too short to accommodate the screw holes offered by this box. works awesome, seems perfectly safe. I have no actual clue what I'm doing and I'm pretty sure I nailed it, I highly recommend this unit

One of the few heavy duty ceramic light holders you can find any more, others are of some kind of light plastic that gets yellow with heat, or thinner grade and poorly made ceramic. These are nicely made, Ultra Pro is way better then the old time brand that is now made by different folks and not as good.

The 2 pack was purchased. During install, the product was being secured to the box to test which side to have the pull chain and receptacle face. During the testing, while tightening one of the bolts to secure the product to the box, the product broke apart. Further, while later securing the second one, a sound could be heard as the screwhead pushed against the ceramic. While there is a warning to take care to not break the holder, I don't recall being anywhere close to full snugness at the time of the break. Further, I had used three other ceramic holders before without worry of the product breaking. I went ahead and installed the second product, which then made trying to initiate a return or seek a refund seem challenging as both products would be expected for return. The product did come with mounting screws. It also came with a string to attach to the chain to give the chain length. The string is plenty long. The receptacle has a good grip on plugs. While I am still wary of leaving a cord plugged into a socket that's mostly facing downwards, I do feel better about the idea given how the receptacle is gripping the plug. The resistance of the chain and feel when pulling it is fine. The old holder from the '70s had a better feel, but this one was okay. I did notice full insertion of a plug into the receptacle was accompanied by a slight shift in the light socket's position. Maybe that behavior is expected, but seeing the lit bulb move from plug insertion is unsettling.
