Night + Day: Music to Soothe the Soul and Enliven the Spirit Set

Love this collection ... Good tunes that offer me a good feeling ... Nice to have this in my music library!!

I am very compelled to make this review about this CD, "Night+Day: Music To Soothe the Soul and Enliven The Spirit". For any one to say after they heard it they threw it into the trash. there has to be some underlining reason other then the music for saying that, because what I hear is a wonderful mix of relaxing tracks to do just what the title says! I am a true music lover if I hear something I like I do not care who it was conceived by, I will buy it. Adding this to my growing collection as well!! This collection has a great mix of rhythms, intruments, and most entertaining!

This sampler double CD showcases better known artists such as Jon Anderson, Cusco, 3rd Force, Craig Chaquico, EKO but also offers other artists I've never heard before. Despite the night and day theme for either CD, the artists and songs have their own nuances. I recall that I had several listens before the songs settled in, but they are very entertaining and varied with strong melodies and polished productions. The poor reviews defy the label's intent to entice an audience and I suspect the reviewers did not give these tracks a fair listen.

This CD was an extreme disappointment. I figured I couldn't go wrong with having 2 CDs. However, there weren't any good songs worth listening to on either CD (except maybe one...and it's not that great). Don't buy this CD. If you're looking for some good relaxing music from Higher Octave, check out the band Mythos.
