Well made parts, works to stop sewer gas smell

I was having a lot of septic smell outside my house. The exhaust pipe is just an open pipe sticking out of the roof. It’s a tiny house, so being so small the smell was pretty much surrounding us.In my head I was picturing a carbon filter with a cover over it but had never seen anything like that. Surprisingly when I started looking I found this product that is exactly what I was picturing!It is super simple to install, slide on, couple of twists with a flat head, done.I put it on about a month ago and have not smelled anything since. I believe it said to replace the filter about once a year so it will take some time to see if that is true. But as of now I would definitely recommend this product!

The previous owner of our house remodeled the kitchen and left a vent for the sink open (but with a water trap) under the sink. Stunk like sewer every time we washed dishes. I bought this, pulled off the cap (which I don't need since indoors) and mounted it to great success. Zero stink now. Great investment.

Overall, the product is easy to install and does function as intended. The septic odor from the vent is no longer prevalent.That said, for what it is, it's a little expensive. Knock 10-15 off and it would be perfect
