IKIDO Post Surgery Neck and Chin Compression Garment Wrap Bandage for Women, Face Slimmer

First off, to address possible sizing issues. The first time that I purchased this compression garment, I purchased a large because of reading so many reviews of people complaining about the garment being so small. I ended up having to return the large and get a medium so, if you want to avoid that issue, measure your head and order accordingly. Now, as for the compression garment, I purchased this garment because I have had cancer surgery on the inside of my left cheek. I am going through Lymphedema Therapy and my therapist sent me home with a compression garment that she wants me to wear as much as possible, particularly while sleeping. It is very thick and cumbersome and while I can wear it during the day,I just can not wear it while sleeping so, I purchased this compression garment to wear while sleeping. This garment is a far better option for me as far having a compression garment to wear while sleeping. The material is very soft and smooth. The medium fits me perfectly. The Velcro straps fit securely and the garmet is comfortable. It fits in front of my ears which is a great plus. The neck strap is very soft and smooth. It seems to be great quality and sewn very well. It does not compress as well as the compression garment that my therapist sent me home with but, it does compress well enough for sleeping. It is easy to use and functions as expected. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and I while I can not speak to how well it would work for someone after cosmetic surgery, I believe that for someone needing a softer compression garment for post head and neck cancer that this compression garment would be very helpful. I would 100% recommend. I hope that there is someone out there that finds this review helpful.

I bought this compression head garment after cancer in the neck/tonsil area. Lymphedema in my neck will be a life long issue. I’m 5’4”, 125lbs. I bought the small. It fits and since it has Velcro I can adjust the tightness of both the top and neck closures. I wear it during the day and am slowly being able to wear it throughout the night (not all night yet, it’s definitely something you have to get used to). I have another neck garment I’m wearing at night when I can’t keep wearing this one. It’s called Comfiwave-neck. As with the other compression garments I have, You will always have compression indentations on your skin. This is good, because that’s what these garments are supposed to do, but cosmetically I have lines all over my face and neck, that don’t go away quickly (they can last hours). It’s the price of surviving, I’ll wear them proudly.

Was great for use after surgery. My only complaint is some of the stitching is coming out too easily and it really holds onto smell even after a few washes. Still smells like hospital to this day.

It is much softer than the ACE-style compression wrap that the surgeon sent me home with but they need washed so I wore this one while the other one was being washed/dried. No pressure whatsoever. It could be because one needs to have a huge chin/jaw to have it fit properly. I could adjust the snugness with the velcro but the area for under the chin was so wide that even with the lower end of the compression wrap pulled all the way down to my collarbone, the upper end kept covering my lips. Scrunching it under my chin to keep it out of my mouth just created painful creasing on my neck which led to more swelling/lumpiness in the area. I do not recommend this product to anyone except a certain old ABC Sunday morning cartoon character.

This definitely helped with the swelling and recovery after submental lipo. I liked that there was a place for my hair. It fit my head well and stayed on correctly due to the strap that goes around my neck, which fit comfortably and wasn't too tight. It lasted for the duration of my recovery, about 8 weeks and is still in good shape.

The sentence I wish I’d seen before surgery: your face WILL swell up beyond what you think for things like a facelift, deep plane neck lift, etc. Get the largest size. Or get a Large and a Medium. I’m stuck with just a medium so I’m only able to use gauze and wraps for probably another week.

It looks exactly like it looks on the picture, and it feels like it looks, very comfortable and supportive. I will order 3 more - 2 that I can wear with wound cream and 2 around the house and in some short runs out the house

I had chin lipo and wear this to maintain my look. I also use it in conjunction with my facial steamer and it works a wonder. My face is so slim. Only thing is it sometimes catches my hair so it hurts but when you Velcro it right its great. Great buy!

The Velcro overlap is sch that it snags and breaks off your hair.

I’m a male, normal sized head and I went with size small. Perfect size. Actually fits better than the picture shows. The under chin neck is nice and tight and compressed. I will be using this for neck lipo and buccal fat removal and it will be honestly perfect. So happy I got this one

I used my neck circumference and got the S size but it turned out to be a tad too tight around the head (neck fits nice). In my opinion, they should have included an extension. If bras can have hook extensions, I don’t see why this can’t have Velcro ones.

Buy the small unless you have a huge head! After seeing reviews from people saying it's too loose I bought the small. My head is average size for female and a chubby face. The small gave excellent, very firm compression in all areas of my face and chin.
