Worked great for 2x pressure treated lumber
Used these screws in building a sliding barn door for a shed and for some lighter framing with pressure treated lumber. They seemed to work great for that, we'll see how they hold up against the pressure treating chemicals over the next decade or two. I wanted to get stainless structural pocket hole screws but couldn't and these were my second choice. Each box I bought had probably 5% of the screws being unusable due to having too much of the coating within the square drive. This is normal in my experience for coated or galvanized screws but still annoying and frustrating.I just wish they also made a 1.5" long version of this screw, I have a few projects which a 2.5" screw is going to be too long for. If they do make a 1.5" version, it's super hard to find.

More Important Than You Might Think.
I bought these to use with my new Kregg HD jig, (which has been discontinued.) I found these have a heck of a lot more holding power than regular ol wood screws, drywall, or Tek screws. There's a very satisfying "foop" sound when they draw up. You can simply feel how much more solid your joints are. I'm using them on 2x4's and such for work benches and even a bed frame, but I'm sure they'd amaze on any project where big chunks of wood are happening. I'm kind of inspired to get some of the smaller jigs and screws, for working with plywood or smaller lumber. This is surely not the last batch of these I'll be buying.

One use product
If the screws are to be used one time. They are good, nearly perfect. HOWEVER, if the screws need to be removed, the square-hole metal heads are cheap, easily strip, and fail uniformly. They are a good value for single application situations. If you plan to use them to support a board and remove it more then once then prepare to be disappointed at best and spending lots of valuable time extracting it with a variety of tools.

Screws worked well with the Kreg HD
This product worked very well on a heavy duty table approximately 250 lbs in total. It also worked well with Kreg HD jig. I will use these again on future projects. The only reason for rating it with 4 stars is that some of the screws are manufactured with defects in the bit location at the head of the screw and some are adhered to each other, but no more that three sets of two. Overall a great screw for wood working on heavier projects.
