Very high quality little action cam
Very high quality little action cam. I've only played with this little jewel a little while, but really like it so far. Easy to use and very good video output. Love the little fold out LCD screen and the LED light. It comes with a little fold-able attachable grip with a mirror that makes it easy to hold and take selfies. It also can use Go Pro accessories or regular tripod screw mount. The only negative things i can say about it so far is the menu buttons are a little difficult because of the camera's small size and the wide angle fish eye view is a little to wide for my taste. I use the underwater setting to shoot all the time and it works better for me, because it is not quite as wide an angle.Can't wait to take this camera to the beach or on a little adventure.

Good camera for the price
Once you take the time to learn all the settings this really is a great camera. I bought it for vlogging and it works very well. Plus the fact you don't need a case to use it underwater is a huge bonus. My only complaints are that the lens protectors aren't very sturdy (the round one scratched easily and is expensive to replace) and I hate the extreme fisheye. I don't know why they decided to go all in on the fisheye effect but it sucks. Fortunately, as long as you leave it in underwater mode it reduces a good bit of the effect. I still wish it didn't have it at all. All in all, for the price this is a good action cam. If it had the lens and stabilizer feature that the Sony version has, it would be perfect.

Pros:have wide angle 200 degree to take a nice panorama. The torch is so nice addition to an action camera.Cons:The quality is not that good. It's almost always fuzzy and not clear.I tried to change the resolution maybe it will help but unfortunately it's not. While I am taking a video from tripod for more than 4 minutes it will switch off.The most worst thing is image and video quality I didn't expect 4K Action camera to be like that.

Olympus Always Delivers Quality Products
The media could not be loaded. Great product - Olympus optics and solid construction - and alternative to GoPro. Waterpoof to 100 ft. as is, stereo sound recording, flip out led screen, built in led light, plus and easy and intuitive UX. Tiny. Wish I had it on my fishing trip to Costa Rica - I spent too much time fooling around with a borrowed go - pro and pitched my attempts to get some underwater tuna landings.

Side screen shorted out!!
Bought camera for a dive trip to Roatán. First dive side screen started glitching. Second dive it was completely dead. Still on trip and lights are working and battery compartment is dry so hope it is still recording. Will only find out when I return home. The idea of this came is great and the price is really good, but you may or may not get what you are recording.

GREAT
FIRST IMPRESSION - The fist thing that strikes you is just how SMALL it is, which is GREAT! Seems well-built, it's nice to have a built-in, bayonet-mount, lens protection system and the on-board L.E.D. light is SURPRISINGLY bright! The only hesitation I have is about the screen, while it does swing out, and while it would be nice if it swiveled, it's VERY small!! It's 1.5" DIAGONAL, but until you turn it on, you don't quite understand how SMALL that really is. Seems to me they should have found a way to use the boarder which would have made it a much more comfortable 2.75" diagonal screen.SECOND LOOK - I would NOT use the complimentary screen protectors film to protect the underwater lens cover, they're not clear enough to shoot through, but I do use them to protect the cover while stored. This is definitely Olympus' answer to the Go-Pro Hero Black, but after getting familiar with the on-board features and menu navigation/options (which I recommend), I would suggest downloading and installing the two smartphone app's and the computer app. the smartphone app's, OI-Tracker and OI-Share, add very USEFUL features, the most handy of which are the REMOTE features which allow you to use your smartphone as a remote monitor AND enables you to move your photos/videos to your smartphone and even start/stop video/photo shooting! The computer app', A-GPS ("Assisted-GPS"), is for one of the more advanced features, but as you read/study the directions, and become more familiar with, and exert at, this cam', the closer you'll get to wanting to use ALL the features this little cam' has to offer!{update coming}

Disappointing
I bought this camera as a second underwater camera to use on our trip to Tortola, BVI (knowing we'd be spending a lot of time underwater). Unfortunately we quit using it after a few days and only used our Olympus Tough TG-4. The Tough TG-4 is more user friendly, takes great pictures both above and underwater. Even the videos are great. I wish I would have purchased a second one of these prior to vacation instead!!!!Pros: I like that the camera was small, light and has the tilt out monitor. I didn't have any difficulty using the OI Share app - downloading the pictures onto my iPad and iPhone. Maybe it's because I've used it with the Tough. The pictures were clear, color was good. I love the green color of the camera.Cons: Because of the placement, I found it difficult to push the buttons when changing between pictures and videos underwater. It seems to be a lot of steps to do/change most of the settings. The screen does not show the last picture you've taken - you have to go into the menu and the review pictures (a few steps). You also can't scroll to review one picture after another - you have to keep returning to the thumbnails and then arrow over to the picture you want to view full screen. The format of the video downloads would not play on the iPad or iPhone, I needed to install an app. Although I knew I would not be able to zoom, I found this more of an issue than I thought I would. When videotaping underwater, the color of the video would randomly change. I am aware that colors underwater change depending on depth, sunlight, etc, but this was different (especially compared to the underwater video shot in the same location with our other Olympus camera).Needless to say, I returned it and would not recommend it to anyone!
