disappointed
Having enjoyed another book by this author I decided to try this trilogy, I have given up at 70%through the story, I don't like any of the main characters therefore I don't care what happens to them, a selfish bunch.

Three sixty mind spin.
I love the book, though I'm yet to read the rest in the series. My advice to anyone who buys this book, when you pick it up, give it a chance. At the beginning to the middle it's little long winded and dry in places, but, THEN I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. I wanted to see how everything unfolded and ended. I'm looking forward to book two. As for the condition of the book, i bought it NEW but it looked in used/damaged condition when it arrived.

A fantastic story filled with love, intrigue and the supernatural.
This book really captivated me, from beginning to end it had me gripped and wanting to know more about this enigmatic woman. I've never read a book more than once but have read this three times and could still read it again. I've also recently read the other two books in the trilogy and they were just as great!

The Taker by Alma Katsu
Heard some good feedback from friend about auther and the trilogy, but was let down by this one. Found I couldn't get into the story and felt it was kind of slow in gettint to the good parts, to much standing around and not enough action for me.

Well written
Really enjoyed this book. Beautifully written, and well balanced throughout. Intriguing tales that build the characters successfully, while demanding the reader's affection for even the most sinister involved. This story's triumph is truly in the pages and not the ending. Don't let yourself read it too quickly or be fooled into thinking this is building up to a bang of an ending. Enjoy the book, it is very worthy.
