My 3 year old grandson who is obsessed with anything involving steam LOVES this book

My son (nearly 3) loves this book. He is into trains and to start with, I had to read this to him about 20 times a day, until he learned it off by heart. As a grown up, I love the rhymes and the lovely pictures. Great value and highly recommended.

Bought this as a little pressie for a neighbours little boy. He’s 2 and it’s been his (and his 4yr olds sisters) favourite nighttime read for the last 6 months 😃

Very nice book that my little one likes to read, I only wish the pages were a little bit more vibrant and lighter, as they are quite dark.

A bit ‘ American’ but our train mad grandson loves this book of verse.

A lovely, well written book for around toddler age.My son is train mad, and this book with its lovely illustrations and rhyming tale throughout is perfect for bedtime. He chooses it so much to be read to him. It’s nice to find alternative train books to Thomas that are appropriate for this age.

We really like this book... great rhyming story with lots of interesting cargo to discuss.The illustrations aren’t so engaging as quite dim and dark (it is the dream train) but that hasn’t stopped my two year old from enjoying it.
