Yes, there is easy assembly. The birds to the base.

Q: Could someone verify the height of these birds? There seems to be a conflict between 20" vs 26". Thanks in advance

The taller one is 26" and the shorter one (head bent down) is just under 24".

Q: Are the bolts aluminum? Do not want rusting if used outdoors

This comes fully assembled. No bolts. We use this indoors so we can't say whether it will rust or not.
