Sets you up on a path to clearer thinking and writing
Writing crisply is a challenge(definitely for me) and I am constantly in search of tips and tools. The Pyramid Principle is considered a must-read by most of my colleagues in management consulting and is definitely worth its reputation. The book is one of those rare books on communication that relies less on feel-good prescriptions and more on how to think while writing. It is full of excellent examples of both good and bad writing. In the initial pages, you may feel a little resistant to her ideas but if you stick around and read through, you’ll pick up a lot of simple but efficient tools and methods relevant to writing for business , especially when you want to write to persuade someone. I wish this was required reading in my undergrad years.

This is a treasure trove! A true classic.
It's amazing how an otherwise expensive book is available at such a low affordable price. A must buy for management professionals, especially those who often must make compelling business arguments through research reports, whitepapers or even business presentations. The book is highly recommended in some leadint business schools in the western world, and it's easy to see why. It presents how we often overlook the importance of clarity of thought in our communication, which leads to the reader or the audience missing the point. The print quality is just fine, don't worry about the pricing.

The book quality is good as opposed to the review. I liked the book which explains the key concepts of writing and thinking which is very important in the modern world where the attention span is very limited.

Improve your writing skills
This book will help you structure your communication across all levels. The basic principle is writing the key message and expanding it as we drill down further. For many of us, who are used to writing our conclusion at the end of a long paragraph, this book is a revelation. Everyone should read this book. It is very expensive. You may want to borrow it from your local library.
