Unisex-Adult Open Face Motorcycle Helmet

This helmet has an accident replacement warranty and a 5 year warranty that shows this is a great company.They said it had a place for speakers thus I bought it to put my blue tooth helmet to helmet headset in and we were able to set it up without altering the helmet at all. It is heavy compared to my other helmets but made better. Sturdiness verses lightweight I vote the durability is best and this is a good quality helmet. You do want something to protect your head and this is made well. The size if you go by the chart should fit you well. I bought a small and it fit great and snug which you do not want slack in a helmet. The shields and sunglasses are great. The sunglasses were not too high as another viewer had stated if you get the correct fit and they were plenty big to go below the eyes for maximum protection. The cushion is thick which you want that with a good helmet. I have not ridden with this just purchased so cannot give review how the air vents work but they look like they are set up for great circulation.

I cant believe this helmet. A deal at twice the price. I ordered two other helmets before this, returned them both and I am so glad I did. I previously ordered the GLX fiberglass jet helmet (also made in USA) and the visor was crapola, broke out of the box. otherwise that helmet was very nice. And I previously ordered a !storm, it was like wearing a cooler on my head. The modular helmet flip up was present on that helmet but more of a toy quality....I can see why this helmet has the better safety rating. Felt inside the helmet above the liner and there was.....nothing. This helmet has two visors, quality latches. padding above the liner...Made in USA... So happy. This helmet is way better quality and has better features. The two visors are just great. I did order a m and got an extra small....but it fits... go figure.

Love the fit of the helmet. The open face allows for greater airflow and i feel less stifled on the ride. The flip down shades are neat and very useful. I would love a smokey version of the visor. The vents are helpful but would love a little increase in airflow for those hot rides. Great purchase and keeps me grabbing a helmet instead of risking going without.

Coming from a Vega Summit 3.0 XXL that served me great for years, this helmet is a let down. The XXL size fits snug until you close the shield all the way. The shield close's inside two retainers which makes the helmet squeeze the helmet even tighter. My head measures 24 1/4"s which means this helmet should have been at least close to a good fit. Cause's me headaches. Other than shaving the hard foam I really don't know how to continue wearing this helmet. The sun visor that drops down by the lever is nearly useless. Unlike the Summit 3.0 that had a flat visor that worked for years, this one has a shape for your nose that will never reach your nose and obstructs your view when it is down. The Sun visor gets stuck quite often and you have to stop riding, pull the helmet off, and coax that thing back into the helmet. Purchased two of these helmets, a Large and a XXL. Both have the same shortcomings.

Like others have said, you get what you pay for and I'm returning this. I currently have a half shell for summer and full face for winter but my full face is 5+ yr old so I want to get a 3/4. Thought I'd give this a try. Nope nope nope. While it fits my XS head just fine, the chin strap won't shorten enough. The sun visor does not drip down with the lever and the clear visor doesn't fully open properly. The shell is cheap plastic that will disintegrate if an accident does occur. Maybe this is okay if your doing 25 on a scooter in city streets but there's no way I trust it at freeway speeds.I don't often leave good or bad reviews, but buyer beware: spend your money on a solid helmet and protect your noggin.

This is an excellent helmet all way around. The quality and workmanship is there. The features desired are there. The price is also very reasonable. I have owned many helmets from other manufacturers including HJC, Bell, Nolan, etc which have always cost much more but never delivered the where the price/quality factor was concerned. It is safe to say these Vega helmets are the best I have worn and owned. This is my second Vega helmet. I am and will continue to be a repeat customer.

I purchased this helmet for my grandson for Christmas and it was only worn 3 times and the clip fell apart while riding and now he cannot use it. We ordered a strap replacement from Amazon but it will not work for this helmet as the straps are sewn into helmet. I wrote to Vega helmets twice now with no response as of yet. I do know they have a 5 yr warranty also.

Great fit well great Protection looks good feels great well-made arrives sooner than expected great value I have several Helmets A few bikes I rely upon Quality for safety this is great all the way around arrive sooner than expected highly recommend
