I use these in my garage. I wanted cheap and bright - I got both in one package! They are all plastic, so are light weight and that makes installation a snap. Since they are light, I didn't have to worry about finding ceiling joist - I put them exactly where I wanted them. I chained them together and use a switched outlet to turn them on/off (turning off the first one does NOT turn off the whole light chain - just that particular light).Super deal and perfect for my purpose.(FWIW, I did not rate longevity - I have only had these a few weeks, so I have no data to base a rating on).

Amazing lights. Very bright, easy to mount, work well in all temps (michigan here so I have used them in high humidity 95F to 10F), and linkable to 10+ in a row.I bought one of them about 2 years ago and liked it so much, I bought 20 more and replaced all lighting in my basement, garage, and polebarn. The difference is amazing and those spaces are now so much more usable during the dark winters of Michigan.There may be some interference with radio, but I have found that as long as the radio is not directly under the light, it is not a problem. I just hooked the radio to an extension cord and walked around the polebarn until I found a good spot next to a plug. Voila! Problem solved.Buy them, you won't regret.

Set up and installation are very simple and the LEDs produce a bright light that is white, but without too much glare. (If you are looking for a warmer, more balanced light, there is a version for that too.) My only negative impression relates to the attachment of the hanging chain to the body of the unit. It is a simple slot in which one slides the hanging chain, and, while this works, it does not inspire a lot of confidence as to how well the light will handle accidental bumps. I screwed a #12 wood screw into the slot to prevent the chain from sliding out. Was that necessary? Probably not. Just hanging it with the chain in the slot would probably be fine. However, I feel better with my improvised reinforcement.

Lightweight, easy to install and bright. I mounted flush to ceiling, I had to be a little creative but it worked and looks great! Very please with light and will add more in garage later! A must for replacing fluorescent fixtures!

I bought these for my garage shop. I replaced T12 shop lights because they were not very bright, used a lot of energy, and wouldn't come on when it was cold. These LED lights are great. You can string up to 10 together and they are super bright. I find I don't need the same number of lights as I needed with the florescent bulbs unless I am really working in the shop. So, I can turn several off and save even more energy. Liked them so much I bought more for my attic and installed those too. Love the instant on and the bright light. Can't speak to longevity as they are just recently installed. Integrated LED means no changing light bulbs, and 50,000 hr lifespan. Whats not to love!

Very bright, clean white light. Since they were replacing a previous fluorescent lamp, install was super easy. Hung on the same hooks but used the chains provided with the new lamps. Lightweight and easy to handle.

I ordered one of these and just loved it. It is bright. Perfect for over my work bench.I ordered another for the same general area. The second one interfers with my radio and makes it buzz to the point of blocking any radio station, no matter where I plug them in.I ordered another one of a different brand to try my luck elsewhere.

I have been upgrading the lighting in the garage/shop. These were a welcome addition. They give off nice, bright, what light. Good purchase.
