Lonely Planet Poland

Highly satisfied with the product. It's of course smaller in size than other Lonely planets like Germany. But as thoroughly well researched...covers all regions of Poland in detail...paper quality is really good, unlike someone's review against it. Overall, only one thing could make the book better - a new edition, as this one's published in March 2020.Thanks to Amazon and the creators ๐

Very comprehensive
Liked all the city information. The review of the history of Poland was very helpful and the Survival Guide had very needed information.

Good resource for planning a trip
I had previously borrowed this book from the local library, but decided I wanted to have my own copy. I am in the process of planning a visit to Poland. For my purposes, the chapters pertaining to Krakรณw and southern Poland are most relevant. I like that this book has a broader scope and does not focus exclusively on the major cities.

what I wanted
The book is prepandemic. I am not sure yet how up-to-date it is. I would presume business were shuttered.

Quality not what it used to be
We love our Lonely Planet travel guides. This is the first one that seems to disappoint. The pages are so thin that you can see the print on the other page. I counted maybe 20 full color photos and compared it to an older guide. Many more photos, better quality overall, good diagrams etc.I won't be purchasing Lonely Planet guides again. This one feels cheap.

Good book but check times
Was a good book for general information but some of the museum opening times were wrong
