This is not peel and stick, but it is excellent.
The item description is wrong, this is not peel-and-stick. It is PSA, pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is slightly tacky and easy to work with, then apply pressure to set the adhesive. So far, no failures. Vaneer grain quality was excellent and similar to the picture. Very pretty product and very easy to use. Shame about the poor item description.

Great upgrade.
This material works great, I was skeptical about how strong the adhesive was but once it goes on it’s not coming off. It’s thickness sands, stains and seals very well. Easy to cut and apply. I built a floating tv cabinet using low cost materials and this veneer made it appear way more expensive than it was to build.

Not as advertised.
Product advertises that it used 3m adhesive. The one I got this time did not include that adhesive. I’ve ordered it in the past with great results when it has the right backing adhesive. This product was not adhering at all and I was able to peal it up after it being applied. Wish I returned it bc it didn’t have the right backer. Now I wasted my time and money and need to do something different on this build bc I won’t order it again and take a chance.

Real wood veneer. Thick enough to finish sand.
Nice veneer with good adhesion. Stains beautifully.

Consistently Reliable Walnut Veneer – Perfect for Furniture Projects and DIY Enthusiasts
I’ve ordered this Edge Supply walnut veneer sheet six times over the past two years, and it consistently meets my expectations for quality and ease of use. While natural wood grain can vary between sheets, the overall quality has always been reliable. The sheets are slightly oversized, ensuring a full 24"x96" workable area, which I find helpful for precise projects. The 3M peel-and-stick adhesive holds extremely well, but it’s essential to approach the application carefully as it’s not repositionable. My tips for smooth application: unbox and flatten the sheet under weight for a day or two, cut slightly larger than your target size, and consider a helper for larger pieces. I encountered a minor adhesive issue on one sheet where a small section lifted with the backer paper, but it was isolated and didn’t impact my project. However, this could be something to watch if every inch of material is needed.I’ve tried similar products from other suppliers, but Edge Supply’s veneer stands out for its quality. This veneer is ideal for furniture restoration and updates, and beginners can achieve excellent results by researching application techniques first. Overall, it’s a great, reliable choice.

Good quality wood veneer
This stuff is great. Used it to renew the cabinetry in a campervan conversion. It's so thick that it hides any blemishes (like raised screwholes, etc.) in the surface it's adhered to. It took "dark walnut" colored Danish oil beautifully, and was finished with a coat of beeswax. I started with one roll and ended up ordering many more. My only grip is that the adhesive doesn't extend all the way down to the cut edge (which is exactly where it's needed the most). There is a centimeter or two strip along the edge without adhesive.

Pretty veneer, terrible adhesive. Go with the paper backed.
The wood itself seems decent enough; however, I would steer clear of the 3M version. The holding power hasn't been very good and even when the adhesive holds, the wood is delaminating from the backing itself. I allowed the veneer to acclimate to our house for a week before attempting to install to prevent delamination but it's coming off rather easily. I've slowly been fixing each area over the past two weeks before finishing the project but each area I sure-up causes the opposite side to delaminate! It's been like bailing a leaky boat with a slotted spoon!Additionally, I ordered two sheets and the second sheet somehow bonded with the wax paper causing me to need to waste about 20% of the veneer!
