So the actually pencil is ok, so far as good as any of the others. My dislike is that the sharpener is in the holder so you have to use it with the holder or you can't sharpen it. I'm not a fan of the holders I'd rather juste have the pencil but the sharpener makes everything worth it. Usually with other pencils the sharpener doesn't actually cut or sharpen and it take 5min holding at weird angles to get a sharp point. Not this sharpener it actually works like you would expect them to and does perfectly. 10 stars for the sharpener, just wish it was with the pencil and not the holder so I could just throw the holder away

As a hands on general contractor, every day I am on a job site working. I hate the normal construction pencils, they aren't any good for accurate marks. I have tried every style carpentry pencil that is offered on Amazon (don't find them too often at a box store). The ones without sheaths, the lead breaks easily or you lose the top with the sharpener. Not to mention they roll around when you set them down. The ones with sheaths are definitely higher quality, easier to store and the tips don't break off when stored in a pocket or on a belt. The Tracer is the best one of all of them so far. In fact the only reason I am buying a new one after a year of heavy use is because I lost it (my fault). No other one has lasted past a few months. I carry it even when I'm not working, kinda feel naked without it. Because of the extra clip on the pencil itself, it doesn't roll around. I have never had the lead breaks while stored either. It is of high quality, it performs its function flawlessly, and well worth the money! I highly recommend this pencil over all of the competitors! Just remember... Good isn't cheap and cheap is never good.

So much better than construction pencils or standard mechanical pencils. The built in sharpener is great. Retention of the holster is great. I have zero complaints.

solid pencil gets the job done wish it came with extra lead but realistically it should last longer then those wood ones

So much better then average carpenter pencils. Last longer, can be sharpened with the built in sharpener, and works better. This si all we use in our shop now.

First pencil of this kind that I have used that work i.e. The lead does not disappear into the pencil when you write with it. So far - have to ser what happens in the long run.

Wer kennt nicht das Problem, wenn man ein Loch über ein Bauteil an der Wand oder an einem anderen Werkstück anzeichnen möchte. Dieser robuste Bleistift mit einer dicken Mine und einer sehr robusten Minenführung ist von hervorragender Qualität und sehr gut verarbeitet. Was ich an diesem Stift sehr gut finde, ist zum einen der in den Deckel integrierte Spitzer und die lange Minenführung. Man kann selbstverständlich auch alle Markierungsarbeiten mit diesem Bleistift durchführen, die man mit einem normalen Bleistift auch erledigen kann. Ich kann diesen Bleistift sehr empfehlen.

Crayon à mine graphite pour le bricolage à longue tige, permet d’aller dans les trous pour repérer et marquer dans vos bricolage .. excellent la mine est assez solide et le crayon se clip bien .. Je conseille vivement .😁

Product is a fancy pencil. But I wish I bought one years ago. Works well!
