Iiyama does it again
My last 3 or 4 monitors have been from Iiyama. I did some checking and the company has been bought by another, but nevertheless the Iiyama brand is still my preferred monitor manufacturer.Working from home (as many of us have had to do this last year) on a small monitor was proving quite annoying. I needed more space and unfortunately two monitors side-by-side was simply not an option, partly because I can't stand the black bezels down the middle of the screen and partly because my desk simply doesn't have the room. So an ultra-wide monitor was the only logical solution, and I couldn't be much happier. (Well actually there is one issue, but I'll get to that in a moment.)This monitor is crystal clear across the entire surface, and although I've seen some people complain of dead pixels, uneven brightness and faulty firmware, but I can't find any faults on mine. Perhaps mine was produced later? If I have any real bugbear it's that the monitor is impossibly bright out of the box. When I turned it on for the first time my entire room was lit up. If it were an old-style CRT I might be worried about radiation poisoning :) The problem is that in order to make it possible to look at comfortably, I've got the brightness turned down almost to its lowest setting. That isn't a problem as such, it just means that I have a very small amount of adjustment left.Connectivity through HDMI is simple, the control stick is quite easy to use, the menu is very clear and intuitive (although there are options I can't seem to get to particularly in the colour section, but I'm assuming I just haven't dug deep enough.) The speakers are not the best in the land, but they are perfectly serviceable through HDMI and to my ears the sound is excellent.I'm not a gamer so I can't comment on how well this performs with high-end games and I don't make any use of the FreeSync feature. Being an Ultra-wide, I thought that maybe a flat panel would make it harder to see the extreme left and right of the monitor. But in the end I've worked out that as I deal mostly with spreadsheets and text, I probably would have been more comfortable with the flat panel version (https://www.amazon.co.uk/iiyama-G-MASTER-GB3461WQSU-B1-computer-monitor/dp/B0866GCPXM/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=iiyama&qid=1610991621&sr=8-3) since the only straight lines I see these days are the vertical ones. I'm getting used to it as time goes on but when it's time to replace this one I will probably not bother with the curved screens unless I really get back into serious gaming. On the other hand, the curve on this monitor is actually fairly subtle so I wonder if it would make the experience any more immersive. So in conclusion I would say that the manufacture is excellent and well worth the money. If you're using this for mostly spreadsheets or documents, then consider the flat version (which is also cheaper.) If you're planning on using this for games, then it may be the better option. Either way, based on the monitor I have, you may find this is the Ultra-wide for you

A really good experience
It's been some months since I bought this monitor so let me tell u my experience. The materials look good enough it has not a premium look but pretty good tho. For other side the sound is enough good is not something from other world but good enough.the resolution is as good as promised maybe the colours a bit to improve . The connectivity and response time really good u can play without delay which is good I used it for valoramt and a lot of shooters like Fortnite or apex and low-key a good experience compared with my old monitor. Is not curve but is explicit in the information of the monitor.

Fluid, Fast and Functional-ish
Nice picture for gaming. FHD is sufficient for my casual FPS gaming. Ofc QHD be better but twice the price. This monitor for ~130 pricetag is worth the price, a bargain compared to other models same 165/1ms specs, makes for a great console monitor. (it quotes sub 1ms rate but I didn't test)IPS is very nice on YouTube HD test, viewing angles on a matte 24inch not the best in a bright room but same as any other 24" IPS and way better than a VA.And super responsive no input lag feel at all 1ms feels great imo on FPS games even at 60Hrz ps4.There is no height adjustment just tilt, might be important to know for some gamers that sit close for FPS games and will need something to boost height from desk to eye level.

Beyond perfect for the money except one key detail...
The monitor is as advertised, at 165hz on displayport and 144hz on hdmi. The monitor had very low blur/smearing if any at all and the monitor is of excellent quality. The stand is tilt adjustable but not height or tilt. The monitor has a wide range of colour options and features and comes filled with preset options. You have to adjust the colours when you get it because it's very warm looking when you first get it.The BIG Issue is the controls, there's no stick and it's a nightmare to change settings on the monitor.
