These are kind of a hassle but they do protect the plants during chilly nights. I stood them against the fence and filled the pockets 1/3 full, then lifted them around the plant and filled the rest of the way. Since they tend to fall in at the top, I put three plastic stakes inside to hold them open. Watering the plants becomes a little more complicated since I can't just broadcast water with my sprayer. Rather, I have to stand at each plant to put water down inside. And when it rains, I don't feel like the roots get as much water as they might otherwise get. Overall, still pleased with the purchase, just plan to spend a little time implementing these.

These works like my previous Wall O Waters. They seem sturdy. Hopefully they will hold up well.

I liked the quality of the item but I wish that it was in red or pink

Used for a month so far. Came out and one was knocked over a few days after putting up, not sure if water leaked so it collapsed or what happened. The next one collapsed a week later. The 3rd is still up after a month. Put one back up and after a week two cells we're empty so I'm assuming there are tiny holes.. Put the 3rd back up and hoping it doesn't crush my plants this time. Great concept, time consuming to fill each cell with water. Then all it takes is the tiniest hole and the cell won't hold water. PIf enough cells don't hold water it won't hold itself up. If I only had to fill it up once for the season the time consuming part wouldn't matter, but lost 2/3 seedlings and have to sit there filling it up again was a bummer.

I love how these protect my plants and I’ve used them for the last 20 years. I know for sure that tomato plants protected by these grow faster than ones I’ve planted without them. I absolutely hate and dread filling them up every year. I inevitably get soaking wet during the process. It would be great if the top was sealed and there was a valve for the hose. Please spend some money on R&D to improve the design.
