Well designed & affordable surge protector
I'm well pleased with the Belkin Pivot Wall Mount Surge Protector. It's very well made and fit nicely under my kitchen cabinet behind my coffee maker. The surge protector I replaced was a 6-plug model that simply plugged in over the existing outlet cover. The plug-in ports faced toward the front causing the 3 cords I kept plugged in to get tangled & take up workspace on the countertop. Also the entire surge protector came out of the electrical socket whenever a single cord was unplugged. Thankfully I no longer have those problems. The Belkins Wall Mount surge protector replaces the existing cover & screws directly to the wall receptacle. There is a countersunk screw already in the new unit. I backed it out a bit, plugged the surge protector into the wall receptacle then tightened the screw back in place. The Pivoting plugs are great! I rotated them 90 degrees to the sides so now all 3 appliance cords are hidden behind my coffeemaker freeing up workspace on the countertop . No more tangled cords! The remaining 3 plugs are easy to access for all the other electrical kitchen tools that I use periodically but don't leave plugged in. I really like the cords being flush to the wall; it's a very practical design. The unit has 2 indicator lights: green for Protected and red for grounded. It does not have a reset switch which would be nice but isn't an issue for me since it's downline from a GFCI receptacle that trips if overloaded. The Belkin 6-Outlet Surge Protector comes with a lifetime warranty and a $50,000 Connected Equipment Warranty. Some reviewers said the company only honors this with a valid receipt so I made sure to print and file the invoice just in case I need it in the future. I'm very happy with the product & really love the pivoting plugs. It's so reasonably priced I am considering getting a second one to use in my basement workshop so I do recommend it & yes, I would buy it again.

Very adaptable
Works great so far! Being able to rotate the plugs really helps in getting things to fit. I also like that it is not on the floor.

Love Belkin and this is a favorite
The swivel outlets make it so if I have two block plugs on one side I can swivel the middle and still use it.... and then still have the three on the other side. As far as quality Belkin is the best. This one has no usb ports but... the other brand ones I had with usb ports had nightlights that all gave out within a month and the "protection" light all silently went out so basically they were all just power strips with no protection not long after purchase. I do have a couple Belkins with the usb ports which seem fine but these grey blocky things are still my favorite for direct plug in protectors.

Great Product as long as you don't have GFI outlet
The way this item works is you are supposed to take off the bolt in the center of your outlet and replace it with a longer bolt that helps hold this unit in place. If you have a GFI (it prevents electrical shocks from water or other things), you don't have the little bolt in the center of your outlet. However, the unit will fit in the top part of the outlet plug (and there is a small plastic protruding piece that kind of fits in the bottom (ground) part of the lower outlet plug). It just doesn't fit in very far if you can't use the bolt so you are left wondering if this is really a good idea. The black plastic outlets plugs in the main unit move so you can move them to whatever angle you want. It seems well built (solid, good quality plastic), and in a "regular" outlet it works well (I just wanted to put mine in a bathroom, more for the additional outlet plugs than any surge protection).

The wall-mounted, 6 rotating outlet one. Almost 12 Years later!
26 July 2025 update: This has now survived many a power hits, through 4 different houses across the midwest and the south. It's kept my TV, speakers, and Xbox protected for almost 12 years now. I hope they still make them like they did 12 years ago because im am going to order the 5 pack just because. This one has kept 3 different TVs protected, and soon to be a fourth when I replace my current one for being very slow and the panel lights are starting to go out. If they still make them like they did, get this thing to protect your electronics in all your rooms.27 Jan 2022 Update: still going strong 8 years later. Take frequent power hits in my area and all electronics still work fine. I should probably replace this unit like I said I would about 4.5 years ago. I should. Yes. I think I will. Nah who am I kidding. Will update if I lose a piece of electronic using this same unit for over 8 years now.Bought this Nov 2, 2013. After seeing many bad reviews recently(today 22 July, 2017)I have to let everyone know that my unit is still going strong almost 4 years later. Used in two different houses, one older and now in a newer house, but it still seems to be working. Its not the best one i can get to protect two game consoles, a smart tv, 5.1 speakers, and occasionally a laptop but I've never had any electronics go bad using this. Pretty sure its not rated to protect any of those things I just listed too, lol.But i believe a bar-type surge protector from Belkin caused my 7.1 700w speakers and slim 360 to go bad but that was in the old house. This is my only Belkin surge protector now but like i said its still going strong even after several recent power hits i have no problem. Will probably replace with a better one of the same type by next year as this will be reaching 5 years(hopefully).
