Great for my Cane Corso Italian Mastiff!
I have a one year old cane corso mastiff with the strength of an NFL Defensive End. He is currently in Schutzhund training, which is a high drive working dog sport. This leash has been great for the training. I can use it for long sits and long downs for obedience practice and its good for protection practice as well. When my dog's drive reaches 100 in protection practice, I need a leash that will not slice my hands open when holding the dog back from the helper. If it wasnt for this leash, I'd be in a world of hurt. The fabric is soft but its VERY durable. This leash was worth every penny. I even use it for our walks so that when he wants to go off for a little 'sniff' action, I do not have to follow him foot to foot. Great Buy Great Price Great Quality.

Strong, lightweight leash
Nice, strong, lightweight leash with very strong and heavy clip. However, because it is nylon, it is slippery and if the dog pulls suddenly, the extra line can pinch/squeeze the hand holding it. I wear lightweight leather gloves for better grip (equals holding cotton twill or cotton/nylon lead w/o gloves). Caution: Not recommended for dogs who like to go for a quick plunge in a pond or stream on lead -- being so lightweight, the line tangles around dog's legs potentially inhibiting swimming ability. If used for walk/swims, prepare to take the plunge to rescue your pooch.

Working very well for us
This lead is very soft and smooth (easy on the hands) and the fact that it's wider also makes it much more comfortable to use. It definitely has some heavy duty hardware on it, which we didn't really need with our little 11-lb monster dog that we're (still) trying to train, but that's not a deal breaker. It would be great if they made this in a 10- or 12-foot length with a slightly smaller metal clip but, for now, it's so much better than the cotton leads or the thinner nylon type.

Received a different product than pictured.
The pictures shows this line being made from Bluewater tubular nylon, but what I received was regular tubular nylon. It's a larger weave than that of the Bluewater brand. It's soft and will work, but still disappointed that it was not the product pictured. I looked a very long time on the internet to get the exact product I wanted and found this one and was disappointed.

Good for Medium Dogs Not For Large
I purchase three of these, intending on replacing the three long leashes which I currently use. The connectors are solid, and it works well for my 87 pound dog; however, the leash is a little light weight for my two Great Pyrenees. I recommend this lead for medium dogs, but I suggest getting a stronger leash for large or giant dogs.

Good Tracking Lead
I got this lead because it is the accepted length for tracking in Schutzhund. I have used it a few times for tracking and in protection as well teaching the blinds. It holds up well, especially considering the stress we put it through. It's still pretty new and can burn the hands but that is expected with nylon... I just need to invest in gloves. The metals parts seem to be holding up. I am satisfied and would recommend this lead to anyone.

Nice quality BUT...
This leash oozes quality and is truly a pleasure to hold--so soft and easy on the hands--nice when you have an extremely strong husky that likes to pull. However, something about the material it's made of seems to cause it to pick up every twig and leaf along the way, so that a short time into your walk your dog will be hauling a small brush pile behind it, which is rather annoying. Can't say I have ever experienced such a thing with any other leash.

Good quality
Thinner than I thought but works fine, clasp at the end is heavy duty. If your dog pulls hard enough to break this then should be investing in dog training classes not a leash. The stitching seems strong and of good quality, the material tight with little to no stretch. I live in the country and have tons of weeds and brush. It doesn't seem to pick up any more leaves or foxtails than any of my other leads.
