POR-15 42238 White Engine Enamel - 1 pint : desertcart.in: Car & Motorbike Review: Ive always had great results with POR15, the can of white engine enamel I got today however did not seem like POR15. Very watery even after repeated stirs scraping the bottom. Tried to use it, but since it wasn't going on like it should (and cured POR15 is near indestructable) I've already slathered it with aircraft stripper. Guessing it was old product, but the can looked new, not like it was sitting on a shelf for years. 5 stars for past experience, but 0 stars for this can. Bad math means I give it a 4 star. POR15 is amazing, might get a new can elsewhere - or just forget about it all together. Review: IT WAS DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH. THE COVERAGE IS POOR AND THE FINISH IS LUMPY BECCAUSE IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO SPREAD THE PAINT ON THE SURFACE EVEN THE PAINT WAS THIN. HOWEVER I DID GET A VERY SHINY FINEST. I WAITED 2 DAYS BEFORE I USED THE STOVE. WHEN I COOKED THE WHITE PAINT TURNED INTO A LIGHT YELLOW COLOR. ON THE 4TH DAY IT WAS ACCIDENTALLY SCRATCHED. I THINK THE RESULT WILL BE BETTER IF IT WAS SPRAYED ON INSTEAD OF BRUSHED ON. OR MAYBE A PROFESSIONAL WILL DO A BETTER JOB SINCE HE ARE MUCH MORE EXPERIENCED

I'm certainly a fan of POR-15 especially the darker tints like gray, black, blue, and their Rust preventative coating. But the white top coat is somewhat disappointing. A pain to apply, it doesn't cover well, and runs like hell. I wouldn't buy their white again.

I ordered this because I couldnt find rustoleum high heat in white that wasn't in a spray can. This stuff is runny and really sticky. I'll never buy it again, but it was worth a try.

I like this paint. A strong consistency that seems to discourage drops and covers well. It is a perfect color match for Caterpillar's Matterhorn White. I just bought a second can.
