I recently moved into my first solo apartment. Since it is a studio, I wanted an aesthetically pleasing bedframe that wasn't too bulky and didn't break the bank. This frame met all of those needs! It's the first thing you see when you walk into the door and it looks great. It's very sturdy and the rubber inserts that lock the metal slats in keep them from creaking and rattling getting in and out of bed. There are grips on the top parts of the side rails that keep the mattress from sliding around. If you have hard flooring, the legs have enough grip to keep the bed planted with normal use, but it is easy to slide and move the bed at least on laminate to clean or rearrange it. Like other reviews mentioned, it comes very well packed with all the parts clearly labelled and easy to follow directions and diagrams. The wrench provided is enough to assemble the bed. The box was very heavy, so you definitely want to have a hand in moving. I was able to assemble it myself in about 2 hours, but it is faster and safer to have two people, especially when you have to attach the first side to the headboard as neither part is stable on their own. The only thing I wish was that the head board was a little taller so that more of the wood is visible with four pillows on it. I have a 10" mattress on it for reference. Definitely doesn't need a boxspring. Really cannot recommend this bed enough!

I have waited to do a review to confirm the longevity of the frame. My husband and I have had this king frame for about a year now. It was very easy to assemble out of the package and I don't anticipate any difficulty when we move but we did keep the instructions just in case. We don't have a box spring, just a mattress and it provides height around the hip (I'm 5'3"). If one were to be lying down doing exercise from head to foot, there is squeaking. However, if you turn the exercise be side to side, there is very minimal squeaking. Overall, love the bed frame and it looks great.

My one and only gripe about this product is that the box is much heavier than listed in the product description. The seller lists this item at 30 lb, it's actually closer to 80 lb per labeling on the box itself. So if you have a problem lifting heavy weights or live alone, get a friend to help or really sturdy dolly. A dolly and a friend was the only way I was able to get this product out of my car and into my house. The main thing that I was really surprised about was how well packaged this product was. Almost every single piece was individually wrapped in its own plastic bags and there were slices of styrofoam all around. You see and read horror stories on Amazon all the time about people getting products that comes with little to no packing material. That was not the case with this product. You do need to be careful to make sure not to scratch the metal parts of the bed against other metal parts of the bed, especially with the ends of the pipes. The powder coating on the metal parts is not impervious to scratching from itself. Other than that, this bed was very easy to put together. The instructions are very clear. And the bed is very sturdy. So far no squeaking.

Overall not a bad bed frame for the money . The frame seems to be sturdy so far . We have chosen to use a box spring and mattress on the frame this does make the bed overall a little tall but not too tall . The color combination of black and wood look nice together. The metal does not creek or make any sound, this was a concern when I purchased it however at this point we have had no issues . Assembly took about an hour . The direction weren't very clear however after figuring out a few of the pieces it was easier to determine what the manufacturer was trying to get across in the instructions. Update after having the bed frame since August its starting to squeak some . I was hesitant to purchase worried this would be a issue since it's all metal . I still feel it's sturdy however the squeaking is a issue . We plan to take it apart and try to adjust it or add some foam padding to help with this .

I love this bed frame. Its sturdy and doesn't squeak at all. For assembly you would need at least two people. While assembling the headboard I didn't realize you needed to put all the pieces together before putting the screws in. So I ended up having to take all the screws out of the headboard twice and trying again. This could have been operator error, but other than that it went to together fairly easily. Took about two hours to assemble for me. I think this frame is great for the price that it costs and looks aesthetically pleasing. The middle support bar on the bottom is a hazard to toes. I have only hit my toes on it once and that definitely hurt. Either being aware that it's there or or putting a little padding on it will save you.

My husband and I had a full size bed. It was my bed from 18yrs ago (before I met him) and has served us well for 10yrs. Between dogs, cats and the kid, it being a full size meant one of us ended up on the couch most nights. But I loved my metal bed frame design and didn't want to give it up to get a bigger bed. This set finally convinced me and omg is it a game changer! We love the simple design of metal and wood. It fits perfectly in our bedroom now (which is of course the last room we are redoing in our house). The price could not be beat either. We have a 6yr old who ends up in our bed way more often than we are ok with, a cat, a doxie, and a pit bull. This bedframe is sturdy, especially for the price!

The bed frame seems sturdy; however, it is advertised as real wood. It is laminated press board which is stretching the truth a bit. As you can see, the corner of the headboard was damaged when it was delivered. Unfortunately l, this is the side that you can see. I would have given it 1 star, but it was easy to assemble and seems sturdy.
