Does not work at Gigabit (1000 Mbps) speed as mentioned in the product literature.
I received the product couple of days back. It does not work at Gigabit (1000 Mbps) speed as mentioned in the product literature. I tried with multiple Ethernet Cat 5E and Cat 6 cables. Besides on closer inspection on side of the product it mentions USB 2.0 - USB C. If it is USB 2.0 then it anyway won't work at 1000 Mbps. So wonder how can they advertise it as Gigabit Ethernet?Also when I tried to return it, there is no option of Refund. So I have requested for return with replacement as there is no other option. Let us see if the replacement works. If the replacement they send is also USB 2.0 then obviously it won't work.Update: As expected even replaced device did not work at 1000 Mbps as they sent exactly similar device with USB 2.0 as replacement.Returned this one as well. But an option for Refund showed up. So opted for refund. Now waiting for refund to be credited back.Absolutely terrible experience.

Caution Not USB3.0, Not Reliable in Motion
The Heading misleads that I thought it was support 1Gbps/1000Mbps but actually support up to 100Mbps only. It's not reliable when in motion. If you move your laptop it will get disconnected again you have to unplug and plug to get connected.

If you are a Mac user DON'T BUY IT !!!!!
I have M3 MacBook Air and I just plugged in the adapter, my device isn't even recognising this......I don't know why people are buying it. The picture shows it has lan lights but the device hasn't any?
