Excellent product
CLEAR COLORUPDATE: Product still doing a great job BUT it turned a tint of yellow. Product is behind window glass and is on the inside. Not sure what is causing the yellowing effect...UV rays from sun dont penetrate through glass (unless I'm mistaken), so I'm not sure the cause. The product is excellent, one of the best items to have in your home. The product truly is crystal clear. Application was on window shower tiles to prevent water damage/mold in the window area within the shower. The product is thick, comes out like honey on your brush. I strongly recommend a very good paint brush, don't go cheap on the brush or you will have strands coming out of the brush and into the product. And don't use a sponge brush...it's a little more difficult to spread with a sponge brush. Just use a good paint brush and consider it garbage after your completely done. If you're going to use it on shower tiles, DON'T spread it all over every tile and grout line since the wall needs to breath out the moisture from the shower through the grout lines, which prevents mold behind the tiles. If you do decide to use it for shower tiles...i suggest use it in a small area only...for me, that was the window in the shower. I decided to remove all of the old caulk in the seams of the window first, then apply new silicon. I let that dry for 48 hours, then applied this product over it. If you're going to re-caulk/silicon, i highly suggest silicon and use a very good brand because once you cover it over with this patch sealer, it's inaccessible afterwards. Please note, if you put this product over existing caulk that is old, it will most likely turn the old caulk yellow. It did that for me on the seams i chose not to re-silicon. It's not a huge problem, but if u like perfection, then take out the old caulk/silicon and put in high quality fresh silicon that is made for bathroom and tubs. This product takes a long time to dry...and it will slowly drip down if you put too much on at a time. I applied a lot on the tiled window sill portion and it slowly dripped over the edge. I had to brush it away with a clean brush periodically until it dried enough to not drip anymore. Make sure the brush you use is new, don't use a use brush with paint on it that's dried...the paint will soften and come out in the patch liquid, making the product have a tint of whatever paint was on the brush. I waited 24 hours for 1st coat to dry (feels grippy when dry, not tacky. Still tacky? Let it dry more). 2nd coat went on just fine. Like the directions say, make sure the inside of can lid and around the opening are dry before sealing again, or you will have a tough time getting it open again. I used a small sheet of clear plastic wrap to put over the opening and then put the lid on to help seal the product for future use. This product has only been on for 2 weeks now since mid Nov 2021, so i don't know how it will hold up long term, but it seems it can go the distance. Time will tell.

This stuff is awesome!
Used to seal around windows outside after I caulked them. I could then paint over it. Looks nice and is well sealed. Now that I have used the product, I can think of all sorts of uses for it around the house.

Dries tacky and sticky while sealing wood shelves water tight.
Rather than buy cedar boards to make some additional shelves for my catio I decided to use up some leftover plywood that was sitting around. Since plywood delaminates pretty quickly in rain I thought I'd try sealing the boards up with this Gorilla rubberized sealant. My past experience using Varathane has been futile, even with three thick coats water got into plywood and delaminated, coated surfaces also peeled up. Time for something better.I wanted to lather it on nice and thick so the liquid can made more sense than the spray. Be sure to use it quickly once the container is open as the thick goo starts to dry and clump when exposed to air. I thoroughly coated one side of the shelves so it looked smooth and glossy. Waited a couple of days and flipped them over and coated the other sides and edges. Gorilla rubber sealant dries pretty quickly, I'd say about 24 hours. It dries smooth and glossy, but is super sticky and tacky to touch. Debris and dust will stick to it, but you can rinse it off or paint over it to give it a non sticky surface. I sprayed some leftover Verathane over it to make it smooth, only time and weather will tell whether the Verathane layer peels up or not. I used waterproof adhesive to cover one side of the shelves with carpet for my cats, it will also hide any peeling should that happen. I'll update this review if water gets through the Gorilla coating and things start delaminating. Fingers crossed!PROS: Very little scent or odor, applies thick, dries clear and quickly, appears to tightly seal wood if coated on all sides, can work as an adhesive while still wet.CONS: Tacky and sticky when dry, attracts dust and dirt to stick to surfaces, inside of container starts to dry and clump if exposed to air for very long, can get some clumping when brushing onto smooth surfaces.

good product
I like the way it hardens , even in the heat of summer it takes about 2+ days to harden. It stays sticky so avoid stepping or touching it.

Great Product!
I had to remove my dometic Refrigerator in my RV for a part replacment and in doing so discovered that there has been a water leak were the frig sets. I bought this product to try out and i am very pleased on how good it worked. it is super thick and clear in color, I poured it on and in the crack of the wood floor I used a wide paint brush to move it all around on top of the floor i watched as it went into the cracks, wow what a great clean job it did filling up all the cracks in the wood. let it set over night went out next morning to see if it needed more and no it did not, it is so thick that one coat was all it needed, i am very happy with this product and will buy again if needed? Gorilla crystal clear waterproof, patch @ seal.

Not good for outdoor furniture
My project was to turn my late father’s wooden organ bench into an outdoor plant stand. The organ had died beyond repair, so this was a momento I wanted to keep and turn into something useful.I bought this product to coat it after sanding off the varnish, priming, and painting. The sealant is so thick, it is impossible to get smooth. I hated the results. And it is so rubbery I didn’t even try to sand or remove it using any method.I ended up painting over everything (even though it was bumpy and looked horrible) but the horizontal surfaces where water might collect and will use a different, thinner smoother product. Where I will place it, I hope no one will get close enough to see the flaws.I’m pretty sure it would be great to seal a leaky gutter or drainpipe and have lots of other uses, but I highly recommend NOT using on anything you want to have a nice, smooth finish.
