The World Game
Both my boys, 10 and 11 yrs old, love this board game and the quality of the board and cards is excellent. They not only learned the strategy to play the game and win but also learned capitals of all 194 countries. The directions are easy to understand the its fun for the entire family to play and enjoy learning about all the countries in the world. Its well suited for all age range and fun to play even while traveling because you can use just the cards and learn a lot about GDP, area and population of all 194 countried in the world. I have gifted it to so many kids in my family so far. Highly recommend it.

Fun for all ages to play together - Don’t miss adding it to your board game collection!
We recently bought The World Game and play it with our 6-year-old, who is very interested in geography but still learning the basics. It’s a fantastic game because the difficulty can be adjusted to match each player’s level, which makes it fun and fair for all ages to play together. The game is not only enjoyable but also a great way to introduce young kids to the world map, continents, and countries in an engaging way. Highly recommended for families looking for something both fun and educational!

Fun for the family
My kiddos are still young, so our first time playing we just followed the guidelines but took our time just learning from the cards when it was our turn, instead of challenging each other just yet. It's a fun way to learn, and I can't wait to keep using this game in the future to challenge us all as we continue schooling.

Social Studies Geography Game
I would've put five stars, but the game took too long for my 45 minute bells. We worked on it for a few days & then modified. Quality is good. A great tool for covering the Human Development Index.

Misses the mark for me, but my son likes it
I saw so many great reviews of this game but I don’t really get why people like it so much. My son (7 years old) actually likes it as well, but I don’t understand why lol. To play the game you each draw a country card (facts about a country like where it is, population, gdp, size, etc), roll the dice and then call out one of the metrics. If you have a country with a large population, you might call out “population” and then you compare your country to the other person’s. If yours is higher, you win that round and move forward the number of spaces you rolled on the dice. I think it’s kinda boring and am continually surprised that my son likes it. But the reason I give it three stars instead of one is that he does seem to be learning about geography and the world in general. It’s easy to learn, but I wish they had made some of the elements more engaging or supportive of true learning. For example, he is 7, so he doesn’t understand GDP. I don’t know it well enough to describe it, so I just tell him it’s a measure of a country’s success and wealth. Anyway, I feel like this game misses a lot of interesting opportunities to help kids engage with the world.

Very good
We are happy with this purchase. We bought it for our 5 years old son and started from learning continents with him, and now we learn the countries. Sometimes we play it during family reunions, it's fun and informative. The quality of materials is also very good.
