Fits Sony ECM-CS3 tight
Here are pictures of how it fits over a popular Sony ECM-CS3 microphone. The rubber band that gives the opening a stretch is pretty tight and not too elastic, but with a bit of effort it fits over the mic well, and sits very tight. Definitely won't fall off accidentally. I put the Sony ECM-CS3 with these windscreen muffs on the rear bumper of my car to capture the exhaust sound at track days, and am very happy with the results! I haven't tried using just the microphone without these muffs in the same location to be able to tell if they are making any difference, but for this price I'd rather have it on just in case. Also protects the microphone from dirt, etc. I use a zip tie around the microphone and painter's tape over the zip tie to attach the mic to the car.

Perfect for the outdoors
Works perfect for my Shure Lapel mic, and cuts out the wind quite well. Obviously not the prettiest when on, but more than makes up for it in sound

Bought it for Sony ECM-CS3, works with a caveat...
Others said it works with this Sony mic, so I bought it. The opening is very small, and the elasticity is extremely tight and limiting. You CAN put one over each end (not sure how long it will stay put). I was able to stretch a single muff over the entire thing, but the elastic broke when I attempted to adjust that fit, luckily it's a 5-pack and this is my only lapel mic (I actually did a little hand stitching with a larger rubber band and got what I wanted out of the muff). But then I ran into an unanticipated problem: Both of these install methods block the tie clip from rotating horizontally, so you're stuck with a vertical clip. Or, if you have someone to give you a hand (or two!), you can stretch each over the base of the plastic lapel clip in the horizontal position (be careful, you don't want to break that plastic clip!). Either method eliminate clip rotation, so you'll be stuck with either horizontal or vertical orientation of the clip. Still looking for a "real" fit for this mic. If only the elastic were more stretchable, these muffs would be far more universal in fitting various brands of lapel mics, thus the 4-stars. Otherwise, material and sound flow through it seem to be very good.

Also works great for MUSICAL INSTRUMENT clip-on mic
My violin clip-on mic* picks up a lot of wind/breath noise making it impractical when the wind kicks up at outdoor gigs which have become more prevalent than ever in these post-COVID times... what to do? I looked up all kinds of solutions on the internet/YouTube, etc. and even considered buying an electric violin. Then I noticed furry windscreens made for video camera microphones and wondered if they made smaller ones... tadaah! This works like a charm--plus it's a 5-pack so you don't have to worry about misplacing 1 or 2, or sharing the pack with other musician friends. Good Price For The Quality
I literally just discovered these are a thing! I shoot videos with a fan on, and these helped to reduce the fan noise. When I do my audio playback I cannot hear the fan as much now. They were easy to fit on the mic too.

Not that big
The description sucks on these, so it's sad that I have to go with the ramblings of other reviewers to find out the dimensions. Unfortunately, they were way too small for my application. I needed it for a boom mic that's about 1.25 inches in diameter. Other reviewers had mentioned how they were much bigger than expected and needed to be placed over a windscreen of a lav mic, so I was hoping this meant the size was large enough. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

Use on Shure Headset Outside
These are perfect for what I was looking for! I am a magician and announcer who does a lot of shows outside, sometimes in high wind. This cut the wind noise down to almost nothing! I only still get some wind noise when the wind is stormlike strong. I use to use the stock foam blocker that came with the headset, but I gotta say, if you work outside with a headset you need this. One original concern I had was that it would not fit over the mic. Each cover is large enough for a headset or lavier mic and use a rubber band to hold it in place. One of my rubber bands did break upon putting it on the mic but they do give you multiple covers and I can't see having to replace these for a very long time.

Fits my generic lav mic well.
Fits well on the generic lav mic that came with my zoom f2. I have no idea wtf other ppl think this is because they are complaining the opening is smaller than their pinky, ummmm yeah that’s the point it’s for a lav mic which is tiny, try not to drop your babies on their head ppl.

so far so good
non guardare il prezzo, la qualità e il prezzo mi sembra corretto. tempo di consegna come previsto, ho fatto solo delle prove. A me servono per uso privato.

They work really well, my audio sounds great in windy conditions now
They worked great on my mic, now wind actually sounds like wind and not overblown audio when I'm shooting video on a windy day.

Very loose fit on most lav mics
These will do the job but you need to use velcro or tape to keep your lav in place as the elastic opening on these is too large for any lav mic I have tried.
