Bottle size is 8 oz
On the amazon site, it states that it is a 12oz. bottle. I based my decision on this bottle size so I would not have to fill it up as often. When I received the product, it is only an 8 oz. bottle. I called Kraus to inform them that the size of the bottle was incorrect and I was expecting a 12 oz bottle. They informed me that I needed to see the manufacturers spec rather than Amazon's spec. Wouldn't you think that if they sold their products on Amazon, they would have the correct information?

Bad pump mechanism
The dispenser is beautiful and eye-catching, but the pump mechanism is lousy, spitting, I mean spitting, out tiny bits of soap. It feels like air is getting into the pump mechanism and doesn't allow an even amount of soap from being dispensed. I tried pumping water through the pump to push out the air bubbles, which would let the dispenser work properly for the next few pumps but then it's back to spitting out bits of soap and air again. All this has happened within the first week of installation.Edit: So before returning the defective item back to amazon, I emailed Kraus support to see if they could help. They offered to send me a replacement part under warranty but I would have to pay for shipping. Why would I pay shipping on a part that is needed to fix a defective product. Sure, it we're talking months or years down the line and a part fails, I'd pay shipping to get the replacement. But, this item was ordered 2 weeks ago and it was defective from the get-go and they expect me to pay to make it right. WTF!

Beautiful dispenser
Beautiful soap dispenser. It has a longer spout than my old one and that means the soap doesn't fall down near the sink wall. I bought a 3/16" tubing and connected it to the straw and run it to the big bottle of detergent instead of the bottle that came with it. I have the thick Dawn soap and it seems to hold the soap without priming every time. All the parts are metal and seems very well built.Update 2/11/2017It did not hold the soap with the tube as I posted originally. I bought a 1/4" barb check valve and reconnect the tube to the soap bottle. I hope it will be the final solution to my homemade "never mt dispenser".Don't buy the never mt kit if you have this dispenser. The straw that comes with the dispenser will not fit the 1/4" tubing that comes with the kit. I got the 3/16" tubing at the local home improvement store. I used to hair dryer to soften the tube (just about 10-15 seconds) and connect it to the straw and the check valve.

3 months and stem broken
Purchased this soap dispenser about 4 months ago. Works well so bought another for other sink including one of their pull down facets. This one broke a month ago. Disappointed because the stem broke off and I am very careful how it is used. I really like it but would have problem buying again. Maybe just got a bad one. Would certainly appreciate someone from Kraus contacting me. I will reserve full judgement to see how fast their customer service contacts me. See picture

Decorative and well made
I'm in the middle of a kitchen remodel, and just purchased a Kraus sink, and since I had good luck with the company and quality of their products, I decided to try their soap dispenser. I had a working soap dispenser that was relatively inexpensive. This one matches my faucets. The old one was plated to match but this one is heavy duty stainless steel. Even the interior parts are robust. Often companies concentrate on the outside parts that are visible, but the major parts ranging from the shaft to the lock nut to parts in the pump component are heavy duty and made of metal where possible. Some have commented that this is a bit pricey. Compared to cheap ones, the price alone is higher, but for the quality I'd say the price is low. If this were $100, I'd say that relative to faucets the price wouldn't be out of line, but you'd be paying in part for the looks. Compared to the price of a kitchen, this small touch is well worth the price.

Stopped working after 6 months
After six months, the soap dispenser pump mechanism simply stopped working and does not pump up and down; it seems to be frozen in one position (and of course the "return window" closed only a month after purchase). Installation was not all that easy as I could not even get a long draft socket to fit around it enough to tighten from the bottom. Removing/replacing it today, and will not buy another Kraus dispenser.

Head spins way too easily
The look is very nice and weight feels like quality, but the head is super loose. It spins way too easily when using. In the first few days of use, I find myself repositiining it after each use since it wants to spin and hang over the counter Considering sending it back. Update:. I called Kraus about it and their customer service wasn't helpfully. Tried to tighten an internal part over the phone, but it had nothing to do with the fact that the head feels like it is on a well oiled set of ball bearings. They said just return it . Thing is way to loose for me. I don't feel like resetting the position of the dispenser after each use. I am going to return it.

Holds a lot of soap, dispenses a good amount and looks good.
Nice quality unit that fits nicely with our other fixtures/faucets! It holds a lot of soap, also a good amount for each 'squirt of the pump" (unlike others we've tried that took multiple tries to get a good amount of soap out of it). High quality metal spout, also easy to clean, easy to fill and easy to use. Just firm enough of "push".

Stopped working after 1.5yrs
UPDATE - heard back from the company finally and they will provide a replacement. Changed review to 4 stars. Great looking product. Wish it last longer and had a bigger soap container - I feel like I'm always filling it up.It looks good, but that's useless to me if it doesn't work. It just randomly stopped working one day. When I push down to squirt barely anything comes out. This happened to my last one after 12 yrs of use! So, it's disappointing to say the least. I've tried all the troubleshooting I can (from what I found online). I also contacted the company that make it for tips, but no response. So guess I'm going to need to buy a new one made by another company.

Good value, easy to install
Had an extra hole in the granite after replacing our old faucet and this was nice to use that hole and replaced having the dish soap on the counter. Not hard to install although I had to get in under and behind my sink where the hole was. Soap flows easily with no issues, only had to add more soap once so far.

Nice, but wish the dish soap bottle was bigger
These dispensers never seem to last more than a few years - so this is the 3rd or 4th time I've had to replace in our kitchen. Everytime, I buy whatever's out there and looks relatively like it fits in with the decor. This dispenser looks really good and works well. The bottle for the soap is small though. Have to refill it more often than our older dispenser (and unfortunately that bottle is not compatible with this unit).

works very well
Appears to be made very well with additional gaskets where they should be. Very substantial stainless steel soap dispenser. Nice and heavy compared to cheap ones on the market. Only small issue I have is that the standard stainless steel finish is not a good match for the current line of SFS (Spot Free Stainless) Kraus products. That is a problem if you are trying to properly coordinate. I had to figure that out the hard way. Kraus, if you are listening, please make an SFS version of this soap dispenser. Thanks.

Nice subtle fixture that seems more expensive than it is. Would buy again.
Installed this next to a Kohler faucet in "Vibrant Stainless" finish. Was concerned ordering this online sight unseen that the finish would be completely different and obvious but it turned out to be a good match. While it's a little more angular than our faucet, it has a small unobtrusive footprint on the counter and does a good job of blending in and not taking any of the spotlight away from your main fixture(s).Material quality is good and decently heavy and the pump operation is smooth. To fill the bottle you just pull up on the whole pump and it comes right off without having to unscrew anything or use any tools. Despite not being physically attached to the base, it seems solid enough and doesn't feel cheap.Time will tell if it has any "clogging" issues but so far, so good. I feel that it offers a good value for the money and looks and feels more expensive than the price we paid for it.
