TimexKids Active 37mm Smartwatch with Heart Rate, Notifications and Activity Tracking

This was for a 9 year old girl. Be certain to charge it fully at night. It has been working for her since Christmas, and I hope it will continue to serve her well.

We bought this for my 9 year old. He loved it and was very responsible with his new watch. Less than a month of only wearing it only in the daytime the band began to split where it attaches to the face. The band is a thin, awkward silicone. It should not be splitting so easily. They should not be marketing this watch as ANY kind of active, sport watch for children if they are going to use such flimsy material for the band. When I contacted TIMEX I was told I could pay to send them the watch and pay another $20 for a new band. NO THANK YOU! We have friends who have children with the Garmin and Fitbit kid watches who have worn them constantly for a year with zero issues with the band. Obviously Timex has not developed this product with kids in mind.

Ordered one, it arrived closed and yet the watch had the plastic that holds the strap - broken.Had to return it and ordered a new new.The second one was not broken. After a short charge cycle had a hard time setting it up on my daughters Mi Android phone. Had to use my Samsung phone to set up an account on only later to use the account on her phone.The Bluetooth connection process took some time to work, When I finally called my daughter in order to put the watch on her wrist the watch screen just died ! I could buzz the watch from the App, but the screen was dead !The charger itself is built like a clips with a simple spring. I'm sure that even if the watch worked it wouldn't have taken long for the charging cable to break and make the watch unusable.AVAOID !!!

I bought this for my nephew. It's a cute little watch he loved it.

Works as described

I am so disappointed in this watch. I purchased it for my 6yr old so she can learn how to tell time and have alarms set to when she needs to logon to her virtual classes. The alarms only work if the watch is next to my phone that has the app which defeats the purpose. The watch face we selected does not stay on and keeps reverting to the snoopy version. It's proven very difficult for a first grader to remember how to scroll through screens and select features, most of which she was not interested in. There are far too many screens that are unnecessary for a kid. This is being returned since we cannot use it for it's intended purpose.

I bought this for my son. The directions to BT pair even once the app is downloaded don’t even match the function of the watch. I still can’t figure out how to set the time. Your kid needs a phone with them to use any functions (which my 8 year old doesn’t have). I can’t return because he ripped through the packaging excitedly. Now it’s another piece of nothing not properly marketed or described. I’m pissed with Timex. Total waste of time for me and excitedness for my kid.

Love the activity tracking and basketball game! Even has a Snoopy dial.

this watch works good for a month, my daughter really liked it, she never went in the rain with it or swimming with it, it just randomly stopped working after being charged up

We got this watch for our daughter for her 10th birthday. She was really excited to have a 'smart watch' and she really likes the look of it. It took us some time to get the Timex iConnect app installed, but once we did the watch worked as expected - if you want this watch to work at all, you must have the app.She likes that she can track her steps and compete with Mom and Dad. She likes being able to see the temperature, when she is connected to WiFi with her phone.The real reason we're giving it 2 stars is the way the watch is wearing. We gave it to her on June 25th and today, the day I took the attached pics, is July 18th. In under one month, the strap is losing its colour, particularly around the edges, which is not a huge deal - bands can be replaced, but the case/bezel has lost some of its purple finish too.The watch was significantly less expensive that other similar products, but we expected a little more.
