A bit disappointed because the most shops are in USA. Overall good book if you travel a lot

As a traveler I enjoyed the recommendations of cities I visited. When you only have a few days in a place it's great to get a head start. Liked the insiders' scoop from people on the ground too. I'm from Cape Town, and while there are a plethora of places to pick from I think there was a nice cross-section of places. I was however quite interested in the use of a Johannesburg blogger giving recommendations under the Cape Town section. While I like her contribution a lot, perhaps you should be including either a section on Johannesburg or using a local Capetonian blogger. For the record, the cities are 1300km apart - that's further than NYC to Chicago.

When it comes to the European capitals I am very disappointed... I thought they would list hidden gems not Zara and Mango... seriously??!!!

I guess I was expecting something more on the line of where to find unusual things for stylists trying to create a unique look. Like Shopping LA which has been out of print for a while. But if you want high end boutiques and some vintage finds, buy it. But I think a few things are missing. Like UAL in Nashville. And I just spent 6 months in Sydney and there is a street of vintage shops with lots of retro rocker items that wasn't mentioned. Booth is a great fashion writer and I'm a fan but the book wasn't for me.
