One of the few mineral-based sunscreen/sunblock products (as opposed to chemical sun adsorber products) that is not in a greasy carrier base.Positive: * Broad spectrum mineral based protection * Fairly easy to apply * Fragrance-free * Once dried no sticky or greasy feelingNegative: * Sticky when initially applied * Since you are advised to spray onto hands and then apply manually, spray can packaging inefficient and makes little sense. * Waterproofing lasts less than an hour * Would prefer SPF 50+

In the past I’ve been a huge kiss my face sunscreens. Do NOT buy this type. I ordered several for a beach trip (we are big on sun protection) and even reapplying every 45 min we all got burned. I ended up using my very expensive dermatologist purchased sunscreen and no more burns. For the amount of money wasted on this product I can use ‘the good stuff’ and it ends up costing less.Just to reiterate how bad this sunscreen is- my kids have only been burned once or twice in their lives. We wear sunshirts, bucket hats and reapply like crazy. My youngest son’s burn blistered using this product (again after multiple reapplications and short periods in the sun)

Love the organic option with the top quality ingredients. Just understand that to use healthy sun blocking ingredients and not the chemical based ones you find everywhere else, the zinc oxide in this product is thick and white and it will tint the skin white. So choose to use the chemical cancer causing ones that are invisible or this healthier option but accept looking a bit like casper once you apply it. The choice is yours but dont hold that against the product since you are oblivious as to why they used the ingredients they did.

This sunblock is great with one exception: it leaves a thick white film on you that can’t be rubbed in. If that doesn’t bother you, then it is definitely worth getting. It gave my children great sun coverage in 100+ degree heat at Disney.

Using a physical sunscreen is SO important but it can be tricky to evenly apply it to squirmy little ones. This is the best one I’ve found but still requires a lot of rubbing in.
