I have dry eyes, along with other dryness issues that go with Sjogren's syndrome. Eyebright has helped my eyes more than eyedrops had, including cyclosporine. Plus, I no longer wake up in the middle of the night with a mouth and throat that are almost painfully dry, with my jaw clamped so tight my teeth hurt. Herbal treatments don't work for everyone, and I would never turn my back on medical science. But for me this has made an effective treatment for some difficult symptoms, and it took full effect within the first few days. If you have a problem with dry eyes or Sjogren's, this is worth trying.

I bought this for it's benifits for the eyes....Unfortunately I did not read the FULL ingredient list or I would NEVER bought it. The capsules are vegetable CELLULOSE....to be more specific, the main ingredient of vegetarian capsule is "hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) which could cause the side effects of gas, bloating, stomach pain, diarrhea or constipation....Had I read that ingredient I would have NEVER purchased this item. So now here I sit with an unopened bottle of this stuff and I'm told I can't return it. Watch what you buy people...the companies would rather keep you ill to make more money from you. UPDATE: I spoke with the company and they don't understand why Amazon won't let me return this item. Had I bought from them they would have allowed a return/refund

I've been using eyebright for almost a decade and a half now, and I love it. Very good for eliminating eye strain from exposure to electronic screens. Good for night blindness also.
