These are nice & sturdy. Easy to inflate & great fun for the young kiddos. My 7 yr old grandson graduated to this 20 inch Hopper ball & he has long legs. This will last him until his next upgrade next fall or winter. No problems with air escaping at all. This is a great name brand. The colors are very vibrant. Two thumbs up from my grandson.

We have thorny weeds so it cannot withstand our backyard which is a bummer. But on fake lawn or patio carpet it would be safe because its pretty thick and strong. Just not as strong as the original 70s version of hopper lol. Just make a young child wear a helmet because the bounce and fall is inevitable for smaller or younger children without a doubt. My granddaughter is 4 and we feel the elongated hopper design is a safer option for now. I am holding on to this one for her so she can have hoppy times on the round version when she's like 5 and a half. She tried this one and had an incredible laughy time but kept almost face-planting. She is very tall so the size was right but her coordination at 4 wasn't developed enough. Still if your kid is the right height and has "Stop my face plant" kind of skills, go for it! It's super fun! I promise!
