Monster Energy Hydro Water, Watermelon, 20 Fl Oz (Pack of 12)

When these were first announced, I was eager to try all the new hydro flavors. They have been my favorite energy drinks since I first tried them in the cans. Whilst I was disappointed that “mean green” didn’t come back and the bottles got smaller, I was pleasantly surprised with the new flavor formulas.The watermelon (new version) is much more refined and better tasting than the old “manic melon” in my opinion. If I were to describe it, I guess you can say it’s more smooth? I prefer these to any other energy drink because they are not full of syrup and have the bare minimum of ingredients, yet still pack enough caffeine.It’s extremely sad to see the wholesalers buying up the entire stock however. Amazon needs to do a better job of not allowing this to happen. Beverage wholesalers are given permission from Coca Cola (parent company of monster energy) to sell their products as long as they get their supply from them. What’s happening here is the opposite, and businesses are “pulling a Walmart” by buying all the stock up and under cutting. That being said, these drink cases SHOULD ONLY be sold at their retail rate ($29.99), and anything over that is absolutely price gouging and despicable.

Purchased as a treat for myself but also because I require a lot of caffeine to function. As someone who has consumed a lot of caffeinated beverages over the years Monster is one of my favorite brands of energy drinks. That being said these hydro monsters are a new favorite and I plan on setting up a subscription as soon as it becomes an option. These have it all in my opinion. Some vitamins, fantastic flavor(while not being too sweet), decent price(I believe these were around $28 at the time) and sports drink like hydration! YAY! I plan on getting these again and honestly think anyone who enjoys caffeinated drinks/needs caffeine to function should try these. They aren’t carbonated and are just pleasantly refreshing. Sweet but not overly sweet. I’ve tried several other flavors and I honestly think this is probably the best one to start with because it has a really clean taste to it(I realize that the advertised flavor here is watermelon but I taste a strawberry/watermelon flavor and it’s just a nice non chemical/mystery taste unlike some other drinks).

The media could not be loaded. This is my favorite flavor but it's hard to find in my area so I thought it would be terrific to just order it and have it delivered. I won't be making that mistake again.After I first opened it, it had an overwhelming flavor of plastic, as though it had been stored in a sunny, hot area.I don't like to waste money so I put it in the refrigerator hoping that it would improve the flavor. It didn't.Not sure I can drink this after all. I'm annoyed that I'll probably end up trashing it.I guess I'll just have to go back to hoping I can find it at the grocery store.

Tastes great

This is so much better than the typical energy drink, this are more like flavored water with caffeine. Watermelon is the best flavor, but can’t find it in stores

I love the Watermelon flavor however, I’m no way spending $62 for it! I used to only pay $26 for a case. I don’t understand why it has gone up so much and the others have stayed at their low prices which is good. SMH 🤦‍♀️

Love these so much but they are very hard to find now. I live in joplin mo. I used to buy them on here all the time like 4 to 6 cases at a time. Just wish I could again....

Our favorite drink. The flavor is great. So smooth, not too sweet and not the usual sport drink taste.
