Q: Can I just use this straight out of the tube with a paint brush on fabric?

You are going to want to use a brayer (a special roller for ink) if you want an even application of this ink. It is very think.

Q: What is the difference between the "Opaque White" and "White" inks, are they intended to be used for different purposes?

The opaque white is thicker/ less translucent (hence the name) it does a better job of printing solid white over darker fabrics.

Q: Can you mix colors successfully?

Yes! Pallet knife. It’s been a long time since I have done this, and I don’t remember what to thin it with just a tad IF necessary—but I did get a lovely lavender with violet and white a few years back.😊
