Extremely easy to setup, wonderful product and brand
I bought treatlife products before and love this brand very much, prefer it to other well known brands. This item comes with two switches that could be used independently which is extremely convenient because I wanted to install one to replace a current three way setup in a hallway and wanted to use the other one in a bedroom. I only had to buy this item because it serves both purposes and comes with two switches. The switches come with accessories needed to install the, such as instructions, screws and wing nuts. The instructions explain the different setups and were very easy to follow. The back side of the switch has all the wires labelled. After removing the old switch I it was extremely easy to install the new one since I already had a neutral in the junction box. After installation and turning in the electricity, I was able to turn on the light manually before even setting up the switch with the app. The switch displayed a red circle at first so I pressed the switch for about 8 seconds and it started blinking fast. I then logged in to the app and chose the add button and selected dimmer switch. I connected the tablet to 2.4 GHz WiFi and put my tablet close to the switch. It took the app about 30 seconds to detect the switch and set it up automatically. I the changed the name of the switch and was able to use it with google assistant since I already has the smart life app linked to google assistant. And thatโs it, setup couldnโt be any easier. I highly recommend this switch. I put the rating of the google assistant integration in place of the Alexa integration rating because Amazon does not let us choose between Alexa and google.

Excellent Operation Once Installed
The Treatlife 3-Way Smart Dimmer Switch was the 2nd stop in my smart switch journey. The single pole switch was a simple straight forward installation. Moving up the the 3-way switch, while still simple, was not straight forward. There's still the challenge of getting the switch and all the wires to fit in the gang box. The bigger challenge is understanding how 3-way stitches are wired. Treatlife does a good job explaining this in their instructions as best they could given that not all wiring is the same in every house. First of all I learned that in a 3-way installation 1) there's only one 3-way switch while the other switch is a single pole; 2) the 3-way switch is to be place in the gang box where the load wire comes in from the electrical box. While it stated that this most likely is the switch closest to the electrical box, this was not the case with my installation. And since my installation was a separation between ceiling fan and ceiling fan light, the wiring wasn't text book and the neutral wire was not in the gang box. Luckily there was a switch directly the switch I was replacing that had a neutral wire that I was able to tap into. Once all the installation concerns were ironed out, the Treatlife 3-way switch easily was recognized by the Treatlife app and discovered automatically by Alexa. As with the single pole, I right away was able to either use my voice, switch, or app to turn on, turn off, or dim/brighten the ceiling fan light. I'm very happy with the product and I learned something about wiring while I was at it.

Good light switch. Fair price, and works with Alexa
Good switch for the money, operate as expected and look nice. Pairing wasnโt too difficult with smartphone software. I would recommend.

Great products, easy to install and the app is good! However, it has one design flaw.
So I have converted all my home switches and dimmers with treatlife products and overall I highly recommend them. Here the key things to consider, the good and the bad. DESIGN: The design is great and they come with face plates as well. The face plates are snap-on style which is great as it dosent show those screws that traditional plates show. However, if you still want your traditional plates, you can use them as the switches have the provision to put screws on. INSTALLATION: The installation is very easy and the instructions are very easy to follow. Make sure you have a NEUTRAL WIRE, typically the white wire. The box comes complete with wire nuts, screws etc. But the best part is that it comes with little pre-printed lables that you can put on your existing wires which makes installation Very easy. I did have to buy some larger wire nuts for my ground and neutral as some of them already were 4 cables and adding another 1 was too big for the wire nuts provided. INTEGRATION: was very easily able to integrate them with the treatlife app, and then with Google Home and SmartThings app. You can build your scenes/or IFTTT within treatlife app itself and the app has timer functions built in. Google Home commands are very intuitive. I was able to build a scene in google home to turn the downstairs or upstairs or the entire hime light as a group quickly. Further, I was easily able to build IFTTT for some secondary rooms (like pantry or garage) to auto-turn off after set amount of time everytime automatically. THE BAD STUFF: My only problem with the three pole dimmer is that it leaves the second dimmer on the circuit useless. So, as per treatlife customer service, you only need to replace one dimmer on a two dimmer circuit on the lead side. I had traditional dimmers on the circuit on both ends and I was able to control my lights with either dimmer. Now, after installing the treatlife 3 pole dimmer, the smart dimmer works great, but the second dimmer is useless. So if I want to not use it as a smart dimmer, I have to walk to the treatlife dimmer and use it. But it does work fine with google voice command etc. I checked with treatlife customer service and they confirmed the 2nd switch cant be a dimmer, it should be a non-smart switch. I think this is a desing flaw and should be fixed somehow. Hope this review helps. Enjoy!

A fatal flaw - BUYER BEWARE
After outfitting an entire home with Treatlife switches and outlets, I stumbled upon a fatal flaw in these devices that I never expected to encounter in a thousand years. I started off with only one device, (a simple one-pole switch), put it through some testing, looked over the SmartLife app and interface, tested integration with Alexa, etc, and when finally satisfied, moved on to additional TreatLife switches and then some outlets. All worked fine and I had no buyer's remorse whatsoever. I gradually worked my way up to adding dimmer switches in both one-pole and 3-way varieties, and all installed well and worked like the others, so I added more. It wasn't until all of the planned switch upgrades were done that I discovered bizarre anomalies when running them as a full house system. Lights on the other side of the house would come when activating a switch. Random lights would dim or flicker when dimming another switch. After freaking out thinking that I'd somehow botched the wiring in my house, and also spending hours troubleshooting wires and app functions, and then spending even more time doing internet searches trying to hammer down what exactly was happening, it turns out that TreatLife dimmer switches can only be installed WITH ONE SWITCH PER CIRCUIT OR THEY'LL FREAK OUT WITH EACH OTHER. Meaning - if your circuit breaker at your panel turns off more than one light, (which it likely does), then you can only pick ONE of the lights on that circuit to put a TreatLife dimmer on. Apparently they "leak current" when sharing a neutral line with other TreatLife switches. How stupid is that? They don't tell you this of course, (it should be written in red across the front of the damned packaging), and I'm not the only person who stumbled across the problem either.

subtle looks with 3/4 way support
It is hard to find good smart light switches for 3/4 way light configurations. I have a stairway light that has 3 physicals light switches. This would be known as a 4 way configuration in the USA and a 3 way in other countries. This switch was great because I only need to remove one of the switches and replace it with this one. Unlike some other smart switches that require replacing all of the switches which get expensive and take 3 times longer. The install was quick and seamless. It dimes well without flicker, it does make a click sound when you turn it off/on from this switch (no sound if another switch turned on the light). The controls are easy and obvious, this a rule for my home as guest should be able to understand how to use the light just by walking up to it. I made the mistake of non-obvious controls before, it seriously confused guests so this switch is great for guests.

Great item, very happy with the purchase
The switch itself was very easy to install. Instructions are very clear on what to do if you use it as a single switch or a 3-way. It is important to have the neutral wire for it to work, in my case I had that there already so I had nothing to retrofit, I just installed the new switch and got it to work. It synced quickly with the app and then with my Google Home. I like the switch cover, it is screwless and very slick. The dimming feature works, you can modify from app for various levels or directly from the switch with the plus/minus. If you double click the switch it goes to 50%. I have other Treatklife products and this one, just like the others, did not disappoint. I am very happy with the product.

Quick and EASY installation, NO PROS NEEDED!
These switches are awesome. They are the second and third TreatLife switches I've installed, the first being one of their Smart Ceiling Fan Control and Dimmer Light Switch combo, which I love. Pros: Easy installation (just follow the instructions, they are single pole and two pole compatible!) Tactile "Click" on-off and brightness control buttons Illuminated power switch for dark rooms Extremely easy pairing with app Seamless integration with Google Home (once TreatLife account is linked, new products show up immediately) Cons: Sort-of large switch, takes up a decent amount of space in the gang box, make sure you don't already have a mess of wires and cables in your switch box before you buy! Bottom line: If you're looking for a quality light switch that is Wi-fi and smart home compatible at a good price, don't hesitate! Add it to your cart now!
