I really liked that it was tall enough AFTER I stuck it in the ground for my flags not to touch the ground. A lot of holders count the height to include the part you sink into the ground, and then it's too short. It was easy to screw the parts together, and it didn't swivel around, it's solid. The clips that came with it to hook to the bottom of the flag so it doesn't blow were easy to use and hold it firmly. I got one before that I never could get the clips open! The stand is really solid and sturdy. I'm really happy with this holder and plan to buy more!

These clips hold up well. We live in northeast Pennsylvania near the Poconos so, yeah, it gets very cold here during winter. We get a year or a bit more out of a clip before it cracks. Not bad for an area with four distinct seasons (which I wouldn’t have any other way)!
