Q: are these warmers the appropriate size for a 4 year old?

We purchased these for my 95 yr old mother-in-law, who is in a long-term care home. They keep her warm at night, not because the place is cold, she doesn't give off much body heat. The home does not allow electric blankets, because of Fed & State Laws. They are small in her hands. The best answer I can give is buy one pair at a Wal-Mart, in the sporting department. They are 97¢, at WlaMart where we shop, in Nor Cal. My mother-in-law loves them.
