Clairefontaine 793464C A5 Age Bag Essentials Thread, Bound Notebook, Lined, 192 Pages, Blue

Good quality paper. No bleed through while using juicy fountain pens. I've used twsbi and Lamy, fine and medium nib and they work great. Almost lays flat.

Purchased for daily journaling and I used a fountain pen and so wanted to find a notebook that wouldn't bleed through the page. The paper is great, it doesn't feather is smooth to write on. I had heard great things about Clairefontaine paper and quite pleased with this purchase. My only slight complaint is that it doesn't sit open while writing so I have to hold it open when writing.

I've been experimenting with many notebooks over the years and this Clairefontaine has proved to be the best for me. The paper is just the right weight (90gsm) and of spectacular quality. There's been no bleed through using pigment based ink in gel pens, as well as no feathering. I use this notebook intensely. I have it with me all the time. I carry it in my day pack. I've got it in a leather cover. I've been using the same notebook for over 2 years as my daily notebook for anything. I write small and fill up each page before moving on to another page. The stand out quality, beyond the excellence of the paper quality, is the binding. After 2 years+ in my day pack, in and out and back in, several times each day, the binding has held up wonderfully. I am so impressed by this notebook that I have a number of them waiting to be used as they are filled. It has proved to be the highest quality for my purposes. I have attached a couple of pictures.
