Fun, well made
I had one of these pin art games in my Pre-K classroom that had plastic pins. This one with metal pins is so much better and wishstands daily use in my Pre-K 4's classroom. The kids love it! And, I love how the pins don't break like in the plastic version. Would recommend.

Probably be good if it wasn’t DOA. UPDATED
Edit/update:The return was completed quickly and seamlessly. The replacement pin art toy was in brand new condition. Updated to five stars since it’s exactly what was expected for the original price. The kiddos find it quite amusing, and even I get a kick out of tinkering with it occasionally. If the item had not arrived broken, I’m sure all would be well. Three of the six connection points were snapped. They are just plastic so it’s a bit frustrating to know that it might be THAT shock sensitive. The box itself was very much intact as was the interior packaging. My kiddos find these things quite amusing so I am hoping the replacement will be in good shape.A return has been generated and a replacement is on the way. I will update the rating when it arrives, assuming I don’t get another dud.

A lot of light weight than I thought
This a nifty gift, but not at durable as the ones I have had in the past. Kind of cheesy

Not like they used to be. Lots of slop, feels cheap, 21% fewer pins than it should have
I've always wanted one of these ever since playing with my grandma's 3D pin toy from the 90s. I gotta say, this Ain't like they used to make them. The pins are metal which are decent enough, I much prefer these over the plastic pin toys. But these seem to be just finishing nails with the ends nipped off, not particularly cleanly either. Also it just feels a lot cheaper than the old ones from the 90s. Plastic is thinner and lighter, the holes bored out are a Lot bigger than the pins resulting in a Lot of slop. The clear plastic cover was mostly ok but had a few minor scratches in it, brand new out of the box. What irks me most though is the number of pins. It is in-fact 6" x 8", but it contains 449 less pins or 21.06% than the pictures advertise. Here's the math and attached pictures to verify:In the pictures, the columns are staggered but are all the same length of 52 pins tall, and there are 41 columns of pins.52 x 41 = 2,132 pinsThe one I received, the columns are staggered, however they alternate differing lengths of 45 and 46 pins for the 'short' and 'tall' columns, respectively. There are 19 'short' columns, and 18 'tall' columns.(45 x 19) + (46 x 18) = 1,683 pinsThe lower density pins are masked by the pins being spaced further apart than in the picture, and it shows in the resolution of images you can capture in the pins. In my example I had 2 identical pairs of scissors next to each other to show the lack of detail it captures. The plastic is so thin and light that it actually can't even support its own weight and it tips over when trying to stand it up, you can't even display what low-quality images you capture. Don't waste your time with this one.

Fun & it's metal not plastic
This is for a 70-year-old woman who wants to take different kinds of photos of something fun. No one is ever too old to play with this.

Metal Ends Sharp, Dangerous
The metal tack ends are just clipped, not sanded & sharp as heck. Got for my 5 yo bc he really wanted Dollar store plastic one, but I wanted to get him something that would last longer. But it's sharp as heck! The clear plastic is also all scratched up.
