G Shock GW-9110-1JF

Beautiful watch! Master of G line G shock here. For those who don’t know the Master of G series is top notch materials and special features unique to each model. This Gulfman being the moon phase and tide data. Something I particularly enjoy and is actually useful. Yes! It is accurate information as well. All other standard G shock features are present. This watch will probably last a lifetime or two. That isn’t exaggerating either. I have friends who have been wearing a tough solar g shock watch for almost 20 years now and they haven’t skipped a beat. That is truly impressive to me. When you get this watch and inspect it up close and hold it you can immediately see why these watches are special. People who don’t know will probably just see another quartz watch. They have no idea the genius of design and thought that goes into these watches or the quality of materials used. I am truly obsessed with this watch. I never write reviews but felt this deserved a nod and was worth my precious time to write about it. If you are looking at this model in particular you probably already know all of this and I am preaching to the coir. And I will preach all day brothers and sisters! As a pilot I demand precision time keeping with multiple time zones as well, particularly utc or zulu time. Titanium back, strap buckle and strap screws equal way less corrosion compared to steel. So don’t worry about sweat or sea water. Watch is very comfy. The strap is high quality plastic and noticeably so. The band stays in place and doesn’t have the wings that rip your hair like on some g models. There really isn’t anything negative to say about this watch. If I had one critique I would actually like a larger display. In G world this could actually be considered a small watch. I just prefer large displays for snappy time and date reading. All things considered it is probably the perfect size for most people and I have no issues telling the time. I have 7 inch wrist and is fine. I’m just used to large diameter g shocks so it does feel small in that regard. However, most coats and jackets do go over the watch which actually is a good trade off. when I ride my motorcycle I like my watch to be in view so between a jacket and glove it fits perfectly as well and I can read the watch just fine. Some of my larger g models are slightly bit uncomfortable in that specific scenario but still fine. If you think this watch being made in Thailand is somehow lower quality that is just simply incorrect. I used to think the same thing but did a little research. This was made for the Japanese market mind you and G shock overseas all operations at these factories. This company is very passionate about quality control, obsessed even. That is true across all of there watch models. Buy one and know you will have one of the best watches ever made! Excellent! Excellent timepiece! Bravo! Bravo! I’m in love! This Master-of-G Gulfman gshock is really nice. A slightly more compact size than some of the really large gshocks - this one comes in at about 46mm in diameter. It's very lightweight thanks to the titanium metal parts used. It's also comfortable, well-made, and good-looking, plus the moon phase and tide graph come in handy for those who like that sort of thing. This watch, like every gshock, is water resistant to 200 meters (660 feet). The solar power and Multiband 6 features ensure that the watch is easy to use and wear, and will be always accurate if you are within range of a Multiband 6 transmitter. I think it looks good on my 7 3/4 inch wrist. Happy I got it!

Great Watch, perfect size, great looking. This watch feels so nice on my wrist. The is one of my favorites. I now have 10 gshocks, my favorite so far.The watch has every feature you need and it's Solar Atomic. Never needs a battery. Updated JULY 15TH 2017.I HAVE NOW HAD THIS FOR ONE YEAR AND SEVEN MONTHS. I NOW HAVE OVER 35 GSHOCK WATCHES. I HAVE BEEN WEARING GSHOCKS FOR 34 YEAR'S ,SINCE THE FIRST ONE CAME OUT IN 1983 .I HAVE THE GWF1000-1 FROGMAN GSHOCK AND THE KING GXW56-1BJF GSHOCK AND 2 RANGEMAN GSHOCK WATCHES AND 6 PROTREK WATCHES AND WAY TO MANY MORE TO MENTION. THIS IS A GREAT WATCH. THIS WATCH IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. THIS WATCH IS VERY DURABLE AND COMPFORTABLE. TAKE IT FROM A GSHOCK COLLECTOR. THIS IS A GREAT WATCH FOR ANYONE WHO LOVE'S MID SIZE WATCHES. This is one of the great master of G line from Gshock, size is medium and suitable for average wrist sizes, it’s very comfortable and lightweight.

I've owned a lot of g-shocks, this is by far my favorite. It's got a manageable size, all the features I need and like but none that I don't like a lot of the Master of Gs. Love the look, the functionality, and the reliability. Only thing that would be better is if Casio updated to a newer module so I could see the time when using for stopwatch mode, which I do every day in the gym.

The battery was half dead and the manual in Japanese other than that it's a good watch

This is my favorite watch of all time. Unfortunately I don't think it's made any longer. Looks like I bought one just in time (no pun intended). Kind of pricey but looks great and has lots of great features. I slightly scratched the glass my first week owning it, so they are not indestructible but no harm done.

Stylish, tough, maintenance free and so light thanks to it's titanium build. Superb item, superb seller. Recommended!!

It was in power saving mode and was not charging now I took it out of power saving mode and it is fully charged.Great watch love it

Just received the Gulfman. What an amazing watch! Super light, comfortable and fits my small 6.25" wrist. I was worried it would be too big and awkward, bulky, but it ISN'T! The titanium really makes a difference and the watch 'feels' like my GW-B5600, or better still, as lighter. It feels sturdy, compact and both futuristic and slightly kitsch. I just love it. Very good value for money too as it is a Master of G after all and the various functions are great. I haven't set up the moon phases and tide yet, but shall do. The automatic light comes on really easily and is much more responsive than my GW-B5600, which I also like a lot. I have been into watches for a long time but G-shocks have completely now overshadowed all other watches (of course if you like the looks). You can't beat the functionality and the robustness, the variety, the colours and the sizes. Beware, this Gulfman will not want to leave your wrist. Enjoy!
