Q: Will this cut Cast Iron pipe 1 1/2 and 2" inch?

It’s not recommended for cast iron pipe

Q: Where is this pipe cutter made (COO)?

There are no markings as to where the pipe cutter is actually made except the Ridge Tool Company in Ohio. It has a note on it that if the body of the tool ever breaks the Ridge Tool Company will replace it. I have used Rigid Pipe Cutters for over 50 years and never had one break.

Q: How many cuts are the cutting wheels (33100) good for before they need to be replaced? Assume 1" galvanized steel pipe.

I have been using mine off and on to cut stainless steel fence posts and have yet to replace the cutting wheel. I don't force the wheel and I am patient with cutting. I have cut about 60 pieces and still cutting with the original wheel.
