Super Happy Customer
Before purchasing this drop hitch I read reviews for dozens of adjustable drop hitches and was focused on (a) snugness of the shank in the receiver (i.e. no rattle), (b) quality/durability and (c) adjustability and 2 different sized balls. Appearance was also a bonus. After a full summer of towing, I’m really pleased with this hitch and it checks all of the boxes.I’m towing with a 2021 F-250 and the fit of the shank in the truck’s receiver is perfect. It seems some RAM owners have to file the shank down to fit their receiver, but on my F-250 I had no issues. There is a tiny bit of play in the receiver/shank, which is good since I don’t have to struggle to get it to fit, but I also have no rattle.I’m not towing high capacity (no more than 8,000 lbs), but this hitch has held up just fine. I saw one reviewer post a photo of their hitch actually breaking, which nearly dissuaded me from purchasing this hitch, but then I thought about the condition of that hitch. Like any product, you need to take care of your hitch. Leaving it out in the elements (especially since this is aluminum) and exposing it to salt in the winter will degrade the quality of any hitch, particularly if it’s adjustable and aluminum. That hitch looked like it had been abused and put through the wringer. I also thought to myself that the reviewer may have been exceeding the tow limits of this hitch (who knows). I’ve had no issues after about a number of long-haul tows and been very happy with the quality.I also really like the pins that come with the hitch. They’re lockable which is nice, but make sure to remove these in the winter if you live in a cold climate because even with the caps (which are a bit flimsy), salt and grime will get in the key hole and you’ll likely be cutting them off with an angle grinder in the spring. Still, they’re nice for summer use and fit my F-250 just fine, contrary to some complaining about the size. I also noticed that was a review posted about the quality of the pins (broke while towing). While I can’t speak to that user’s experience, I can say that these pins, in terms of weight and thickness, are nearly identical to my non-lockable pins. It’s possible that that user had a defective pin (if metal can be defective) or it’s possible that they were exceeding the tow limits of this hitch. Regardless, don’t let the pins dissuade you from buying this hitch. If you’re worried about them, pins are cheap and you can use your existing pins or buy 3rd party pins. I’m towing with them without issue though. As far as the two balls that are provided with the hitch, I’ve had a really good experience with them. My previous hitch has 2 5/8 ball which seemed slightly oversized. I had trouble opening and closing the trailer receiver latch, especially when my trailer was on an incline (drove me nuts). The 2 5/8 ball with this hitch is awesome. Opening and closing the trailer hitch latch is almost always no problem and this is just an unexpected bonus from this hitch.Lastly, the hitch looks bad ass on my truck. Aluminum hitches may be more expensive, but they really look nice on any truck.

got a metal file?
I have a ram 3500. the hitch did not fit into the receiver. not sure if it is the hitch's fault or the receiver. I followed the advice of a previous reviewer and filed the corners of the hitch (a lot) but I also filed the inside of the receiver (a lot) squaring it up. after much sweat and worry, success. it is very obviously a very good hitch and ball mount. the locking pins are a great feature. I will surely remove it if ever in a vulnerable place and away from truck for while in the unlikely event someone takes a hammer to the pins. despite the extra work, I give it full endorsement. afterall, accomplishing that task made the celebratory cold beer all the tastier. cheers!

Needed modifying
The corners were too sharp on this hitch to fit in my receiver. I had to grind radiuses on all 4 corners so it would fit

Did not fit my Ram 2500
I own a 2014 Ram 2500 with the Class V (2-1/2”) receiver hitch. Upon arrival, I attempted to insert. The shank is fairly square and my receiver is more rounded, and it did not fit. I wanted a hitch that was ready to go and not require me to modify/mill/grind to fit. I liked the price, the look and the specs on this and would have kept it if would have fit. Gave three stars due to the fact description indicated that it fit my Ram.

Nice piece but needs better security
I bought the wrong one for my truck I needed to fit the 2 inch receiver and I bought the one for 2-1/2 so I machined it down to fit, but my buddy told me he bought 2 of these and both of them got stolen, he said they just took a hammer and broke off the pin lock but other than that it looks like a nice piece, I’m going to add a bolt from the back side so you just can’t pull it out or maybe a puck lock

Had to file!
So I try to put the hitch in the receiver and it's too big. The 3" hitch wasn't 3. It was bigger. So after 30 minutes of grinding and filing it went in. Other than that, nice looking hitch.
