I purchased this to replace an old dipstick that the rubber grommet had hardened and start to leak. This product was a perfect fit and no more leaks. You can go wrong if you having problems with transmission leaks.

Great Replacement For My Honda Civic
This fixed a terrible dipstick from a company who should have done better! My Honda dipstick was so loose I just could not drive around in the car with a loose dipstick that would likely let contaminants enter the hole that this fills in the automatic transmission. Not worth taking the chance. Once I caught the problem the car stayed parked until I got a replacement. So knowing the OEM was junk and also knowing that Dorman is the company that fixes problems with OEM parts and designs, I bought this and it is working GREAT! I also read the reviews and they were overwhelmingly positive. If you have a loose Honda dipstick that looks like this then buy it. It goes into a hole in an area of the transmission that is typically very dirty. You don't want that dirt in your transmission. Worse yet is if you wash your engine bay! Just think about what might get in to your transmissions.

A loose dipstick was causeing a engine light on my 2002 honda civic LX and this did the trick. Yeah, idk why thats a thing, but this dipstick is higher quality then the OEM version that i pulled out of my car. Highly Recommend.

Fits 1st gen CRV
Says it doesnt fit my 1999 Honda CRV. One review said it worked just fine, which it does! The only difference is the handle is a little longer on this Dorman compared to OEM, but it makes it easier to reach down and grab it. Highly recommend!

Quedo de maravilla como repuesto al original de mi civic ex 2003. El original quedaba suelto, y temia que se cayera, o permitiera que entrara agua a la transmision en caso de lluvia. Este nuevo queda justo y apretado como quedaba el original en sus buenos tiempos.
